I don't think Kiran More is worst a team selector. He did right job and gave lot of chance to youngster. Just because he dropped ganguly, you cannot make him villain.

just keep your mind shut. you dont know about cricket. kuch pata nai hai to dont comment
I can't understand what this Joker (K.More) thinks about England Cricket? As a Indian (Former Rubbish) he doesn't even got the basic knowledge about Indian Cricket then what ground he got to talk about English Cricket.
Who ever says or not.We aree the best team in thw world. We need to play well and prove stupid Ponting wrong for his comments. How dare he talk about our cricket.Let us prove him wrong.Aus will get kicked out of thw world cup in super 8 itself.Thats my wish.

Ponting hasn't got the quality of leading a group of guys, he is a talented player and a rubbish leader. This is not gonna be a moral of young cricketers....on field behaviour of Ausies is quiet unacceptable and punishable. I reckon ICC would keep its eyes open out in to this issue.

ur ryt bro india the best team in the world . i tho say one australia india final and lets embarass them this time around ..
Why is this joker back? Don't we already have enough of them? I thought he was up for the Best Villain Filmfare trophy this year! Also what does the words "...just because Sehwag hasn't been doing well of late it doesn't mean that he is a bad cricketer. He is an outstanding cricketer. The selectors have full confidence in his ability and that's why he is in the team. He is a match-winner. It's my prediction that he'll do well in the World Cup" mean? Firstly who cares about his prediction? Secondly, Kapil Dev was also an outstanding cricketer. So was Bedi. And many many others. So why are we not taking so many of our "once-upon-a-time"-outstanding cricketers to the Windies? Sehwag is also one of our "once-upon-a-time" great cricketers.
Dravid talked about "this guy has a 300 in his name!". 300 in ODIs Mr. Dravid? Sitting in a WC press conference and talking about 300s! He is becoming stupid day by day. Sourav also had 22 centuries Mr. Dravid. And they were ODI centuries. Were was Dravid's voice then? So now that we know who has won the Best Hypocrite of the Year award, can we call in Mr.More to give away the prize?.....
Kiran More.....expert ???????? biggest joke by rediff...better ask any gully cricketer to give his opinion...atleast he will understand cricket much better than this joker

Yes ganguly is useless for ODI. That is why he dropped him.
With VVS (VERY VERY SLOW) Ganguly in team if he clicks and consume one third balls of Indian Innings. That too in power play. We can Not score more than 240 runs.
Strike rate 73 multyply by 300 balls is 219 score. This means other have to score more than 100 strike rate to score more than 280 runs.
May be if other 200 balls available people have to score at strike rate of more than 105 just to reach 290 score.
So we can safely conclude If Ganguly scores we are likely to loose against Major team.

ganguly is a good batsman ..has scored more than 10000 runs but still dravid scores over him as ganguly hasnot done well against seamers and also his record is unimpressive in bouncy tracks!
In performance or stature or personality Kiran Maranaiabtak is nowhere near Ganguly. One is a genius and the other is a jumping joker. One led, performed handled the media with excellent command while the other jumped disproportionately higher than the number of dismissals allowed. Shockingly the poor Board had this person as the head selector and he all the time dismissed scope of Ganguly comeback with ruthless ridiculous and contemptuous smile. Another villain Grudge Sing Drakulapur was an accomplice of this shitworthy guy. Rdiff has become so poor to seek opinion of this apology of a human being for reasons best known to it. Ganguly would be remembered long for his classy inningses and service to the nation. Unfortunatly these Ganguly haters will also be remembered equally by the fans for a wrong reason off course.

Nobody wants to be the brother of a mindless and brainless shitfaced like you. Never call people your brother Just a few points for those who criticise the inclusion of Ganguly in the team and blind support for Ganguly in his home state. If such blindness is against the law, take action. If not, keep quiet. If such blindness can bring back their idol in spite of his non performance, it is nothing wrong in such blindness from the Bengal point of view. From the Indian point of view or your point of view just imagine how weak the Board is, succumbing to the Bengal pressure. So instead of criticising Bengal why don't you criticise the spineless Board. But I am sure none of you has ever criticised the Board nor is criticising the Board, because in the core of your heart you know inclusion of Ganguly is inevitable and justified. You are just criticising Bengal and Saurav out of your tummyful of jealousy. This jealousy is not going to harm anybody but those anti-Bengal and anti Saurav guys who are developing indigestion in their tummys. This indigestion would grow more and more with every good knock played by Ganguly. Ultimately this indigestion would turn into cancer and all anti Saurav and anti Bengal guys will die premature death one after another following match winning knocks by Ganguly and praise of Dada ringing in the air. Wishing all the Bong and Gang haters early and premature death as staed above. Thanks for your patient hearing. Have a nice time till that inevitable end comes to you the brainless faithless emotionless apologies of human beings.

Quoting Kiran "In purely one-day cricket terms, Irfan Pathan, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and Yuvraj Singh are all-rounders. Why does he have selective amnesia of not mentioning Ganguly here? That chap has a figure of 5-16 against Pakistan! Is he too cautious now or cannot swallow the fact that sourav is back in the team? But the statement pretty much summarizes his understanding of cricket. Kiran More was a good keeper whom people will remember only for one thing - making miandad jump like a crazy frog.
One intriguing qustion i still have though - it was a personality clash between ganully and chappell and I understand both sides actions / reactions. What baffles me is why Kiran More got involved into it as a dalal of Greg? Any clarification?

The difference is Ganguli acted as dalal to bring a competent coach, but More acted as dalal to drop a competent player.

kiran more should receive capital punishment for having dropped saurav ganguly, he is answerable to the whole nation..its sad that a few people like him, when they are empowered, try to become gods and decide people's fate...from his remarks that the chairman has the final say, its pretty obvious that he was the reason for ganguly being dropped...

It also baffles me, When the board was scouting for a coach and our own Jimmy Amarnath was in the race, what made great Ganguly behave like a Dalal, fly to australia and bring chappel in ......
