Warm up match
by Subu on Mar 10, 2007 10:19 AM  Permalink

Good that India won. But what's happening to our Viru? Dravid is fooling himself and entire nation by expecting to get back to form.

If Irfan Pathan was sent back from South Africa fr lack of form, why in the hell, is Sehwag NOT sent back for lack ofform.

Who or hat is behind all these kind of things?

Is it the captain, coach, selection committee chairman?

Cricket frenzy nation DEMAND an answer.

The recent victories are very Good Sign for Indian Team .But much more is to come .Bad form of Sehwag put him on back bench .

Very fair chances to win World cup for Team India.

it is a shame
by Abdul Samad on Mar 10, 2007 09:37 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

we are putting the players on unnecessary pressures. This is the reason why they are not able to do well. the players are under so much pressure that they are asked to perform well in a particular match otherwise loose their chance to play. Dont bother about Shewag getting out for a duck. He will be able to do well if we just leave him to play his natural game. We have seen how pathan was put under too much pressure. He went through hell like situation. Calling back a player from a series who has an exceptional talent is like firing a shot at him. let them play their natural game.

But how many chances does a player need, that too a professional playing at the highest level. I would also like to see Sehwag perform well & living upto his own words. Remember after making a triple century against Pak, he wished to make a double century in one day Internationals but everybody has seen his performence.

His problem is not the lack in form, whenever he goes on to bat, he's hitting the ball pretty well, but trying to hit one shot too many that to at a very early stage of the innings when his eyes are not set. He is not valueing his wicket.

He has to get settled in first & thereafter try scoring shots.

All the best to the Indian Team & wishing to see Sehwag do well at the world cup & looking forward to immitate & outperform his Idol "Sachin". If this happens then deffinitely the Cup would be back again in India after the necessary repair work.

there is a very long que who can play much much better than sehwag. Its not just to satisfy one 's ego, its the question of nation's pride. We can not wait so long to see one's natural game.

Will India win world Cup
by mukesh agarwal on Mar 10, 2007 07:53 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The India will surely win world cup this time. Their attitude is quite high and this time they are ready with all goods except one Virender Shewag. He is the only fish who might make entire team guilty. The selectors should think again to replace himwith somebody good stirker.

They can replace Kaif instead of Sehwag. Kaif can score and most important he fields well. Kaif if does not do good with the bat, atleast saves 30 runs. Scoring not that important but saving those runs is very important.

Although this match doesn't mean anything but the win will be important for India.

Pathan is back, this will silence all the critics. Pathan wickets is good sign for India.

I dont' know why people keeps putting so much pressure on Sehwag, just let him play and stop giving him advice. People like Bishen Bedi are not positive for India. In Australia the world cup matches will shown late but hopefully I can make to west-indies for the semi or finals.

by Rajnish Sood on Mar 10, 2007 07:39 AM  Permalink

Is he(Sehwag) a load on our team? An extra bowler /batsman could have been included.Anybody on this earth except sehwag would have been better.lastly he should be sent lower in order when the attack is slightly milder and the ball is older.may be he strikes then and regains his touch.

Virender Sehwag should bat at No. 7, that will be the best thing for the team. That way he can be utilized for mindless whacking against the older ball... he is hopeless on a pitch which has something for the bowlers in it.
