This is very disgusting for Indians one Private Company comes ahead of our proud nation just because of money matter, that too with the consent of our Govt. & BCCI. If we look at all the other nation%u2019s jerseys, feel a kind of shame by seeing our jersey.
If you notice, in the last statement, the author has written that "obliging the fielding captain to nominate two five-over spells after the first 15 when fielding restrictions will be applied". But whereas it is actually two spells of 5 overs after the first TEN and not 15.
I read somewhere that BCCI is not supported by Indian Government but just a private entity sponsored by companies. The indian team doesnt play for india but plays for BCCI. Even the cricketers, they are owned by BCCI which runs by sponsorships. So, I believe there is nothing wrong that the sponsors get good advertisements throught player shirts, bats n wotever. Its only us fool fans skip schools, colleges, office, work, sleep and spend hundreds of rupees or dollars to watch them play thinking that they are playing for the country. We franatic frenzy fans feel utmost happy n joy when they win and feel depressed when they lose. we even fight/argue with other country fellows on these issues. But remember the cricketers are just doing their job for thier employer(BCCI) and filling up their pockets. They are not playing for our country, they are just playing for themselves and their employers. So Chill out and enjoy whatever you can.

Mar, what u said is correct. Indian Team is actually BCCI team. But its the same as in all countires for all sports. Brazil foot ball team is not owned/paid by Brazilian Govt, its their football association. If u take India, do u think Indian Hockey is governed by Govt, of India? No, its have a Hockey federation of its own. So no problem in supporting them. Just think the support which Schumi gets in germany. Is he playing for Germany? No.. he played for Ferrari, an Italian Company. But does that stope his fans from Germany boycotting his games. So I dont think there is any wrong in supporting Indian Players. Take the case of Kalpana Chawla or Sunita. Why we are supporting them? They are NASA (American) scientists. Hope u got my point.

I think all have the ICC world cup 2007 logo to the right of the Jersey except INDIA, our country name is displayed bigger than all other, but the sponsors name is killing it, this world logo is included to give the special event in cricket, but for indian jersey, it is going to be another common events which INDIA is playing
With the latest Nike deal they are the richest sports organization in the world, with more than $1 billion revenue, i think NY Yankees is next with $845 million.
No other teams have such a stupid thing written so big alongside their country name. It is a disrespect for the country and the people. Remove SAHARA letters from the front and write it on the shoulder or back

hei sukhvinder, I think you didn't get the catch, please don't mind but you with your feelings... take katora and go for begging... don't expect any stupid sahara from any cricket lover. Our's is not an Indian team, its BCCI's sponsered team... why hue and cry for the lost cause!!! Still we love our country and our so called Indian team to bring WC.

Well said gujeet, Infact earlier I suggest him to change his name as 'SICK'winder, because he is a sick guy, phsychological sick. And later, I just learned ignoring him. Infact these kind of idiots make us sick. Rediff shuould do something. If he wants to criticise he shoulbe clear. Where the team is wrong, why is it wrong, what should management do to overcome this etc., But these sick people never makes proper criticism. Because they don't know the cricket. Indian govt should keep these sick people inline and shoot them all at once. Then atleast india will be thinking positive and grow big. I suggest these idiots to follow Mr. Kalam's speach to improve their positive thinking.
