Congrats to Australia for winning. They deserved to win. They are a great side who work hard, keep things simple, bond as a unit and always believe in themselves. I equally admire Sri Lanka for the way they played today. They never gave up during the batting time and always thought of giving their best! Hats of to both of these incredible teams!
Sri Lanka have proved yet again that they are fighters.Had it been a 50 over match on a dry day we might have had the joy of seeing our neighbours win the Cup.Let usnot talk about our team. They can go back to their advertisement agents and see if any work is there.It is better to build a brand new team and link pay with results.That is how the whole world works.

Even a second string OZ team could have won this World Cup. Next time Australia should be allowed to field 2 teams. The best and the second eleven. Both of them will reach the finals. There are so many good players in Australia who don't get a chance to play for their country.
The finals against SA it was steve waugh,The final against india it was Ricky Pointing,the final yesterday it was Adam Gilchrist..There is alsways someone in Aussie team who score century in finals.Anyway I was always saying that Aussie will win the Final.let it be 38 over match or 50 Aussies were certain to win..but if there was chances of rain why did ICC schedule the match there...
