News just in... according to sharad pawar.. senior players were rested for the bangladesh tour so tht they can make a full comeback for the australia tour in september october... and an unchanged squad of the world cup is to be announced for tht trip...
I watched the matched until the wee hours of the morning and whatever one might like to comment on the ICC, the umpires..., it was admittedly a worthy win by Australia. Congrats to the team ! The complete video recording should be a recommended case study for the Indian Team !
Congrats to Australia for winning the Cup. It was a great performance. But one wonders if there is any team in the world which can break what looks like an Australian Monopoly at the top of the table.

Just my sentiments, and it takes a lot to break
a non-stop victory. New Zealand was considered to be the that could do, but it was massacred by Sri Lanka who could not complete though it fought, and perhaps could have won the match except that its luck ran out.
It's amazing to watch Australia always playing well in big matches unlike the indians. Despite having senior big players we always tend to choke in big matches. The Australian players like ponting and gilchrist are way better than any indian player. We can't be afraid of the australians. What has tendulker, ganguly and dravid won for india?? r they in the same league as ponting, hayden or gilchrist or other australians batsman.

they have in the last 2 world cups. throughout the whole world cup they have never been in any trouble, thats quite amazing.
they wasted africans,nz and lankans. they would of treated india like a minnow if they played.

Correct. Thank God, India did not progress to the Super-8. Otherwise all the other teams except Australia would have put up 350 plus scores against us. And Aussies, would they have hammered India for 450???500???600???
Where is Gavaskaer now? in starting he was so much crisizing autralia.and about ex-autralian criketer who died...and said this indian team is better that 1983 wrold cup team...nonsence...Now he must be hiding his face somewhere GROW UP Gavasker dont act like Don Bradman of India..
Let us first congratulate Australia, And big hands for SriLanka. For India let us hope BCCI and players will give first preference to game, not politics, and money. Otherwise let it be team BCCI in the next World cup not team INDIA.

That is very well said ACARF. Full credit to both the teams that played the finals and the extra pats to SriLankans for giving it the hardest go. ICC may have to review so many things after this bizarre show in Finals.

Never let Sachin, dada, harbhajan, sehwag,....come in.....otherwise next time we will loose with Bermuda as well.
A new team.....with a new mentality like Australians can do anything.

yes.. with more then 20000 runs, 50 ODI centuryies between them who do u think has the guts to drop them...
Hey India Team, learn something from Australian. Play for the country and not for yourself. If you want to make records, make it for Team India not as individual. Hey Sachin, Sehwag, dhoni, it is time to go yaar let other players to play. Dhoni you should to be on the ramp not on Cricket Field.
