Aussie Victory
by Anil Prasad on Apr 29, 2007 10:24 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

ODI is batsmen orineted game. If a batasman like Gilchrist plays and scores about 150 runs in an innings, it is obvious the game tilts on his favour, no matter how well your opponent has played. Sri Lanka should not be disappointed. They did play well. Fortune did not favour them.

No BrettLee, No Shane Warne Yet they won the Cup. That is Australia. They dont need stars to win. Itz the hunger in them to win makes da difference. They are thirsty & hungry for a win. Sheer Fighters. One or the Other delivers when it matters unlike Indian sheeps. Ur the mightiest team of this era. Keep it Up.

To save us watching a long and agonising World Cup next time, Australia should be only called in to play the Semi finals. Two matches should be enough to figure out if they deserve to keep the title. In that way we need to watch only 2 semifinal matches and one final match.lol

why don't u make some money too, instead of getting jealous of them. Or is it that because you are yourself good for nothing, you enjoy cursing them out of your frustration and jealousy.

Only the BEST WIN
by Yogesh Sheth on Apr 29, 2007 10:05 AM  Permalink

Congrats Ausies! You were the best and you have won. Anyone else and it would have been disappointing. I cant imagine Ausies defeated by SriLankans in finals after having won each and every match in the tournament. Had that happen it would have been great injustice.

In Seventies & Eighties, West indies had set some standards. Now its Aussies.
