ICC - One which governs and makes the rules for the cricket not MCC
by LordOfCricketGame on May 11, 2007 05:22 AM  Permalink

For those who live in the stone-age, please note it is the ICC which makes the rules of the cricket (not MCC) - which includes rules for test and ODI matches and code of conducts

So those wants can read the following (except for Aussies who have no brains to understand or still lives in 1870s)

International Cricket Council is responsible for producing the regulations for all international cricket. This comprises playing conditions for test match and one day international cricket and the code of conduct for players, officials and umpires %u2013 source: http://www.icc-cricket.com/icc/rules/

Australian Cricket Team - cheaters and violators of the game
by on May 10, 2007 12:34 PM  Permalink

It is no surprise that in average Australian cricket players has got more penalties and match bans than any other international cricket team. Just another example to prove they are nothing but cheaters. Maybe they should be crowned as World Champions in Cheating

Read the following site contents from ICC to read about it

Aussies are champs
by Alok Pande on May 10, 2007 11:41 AM  Permalink

Dear Mr. Ponting and team members.
You have shown the world that your team is the greatest in all respects. It is a rare achievement by any team i.e winning the world cup 4 times. Your team has all the ingredients or masala to flavour the win.

Australian Cricket team has a history of cheating
by on May 08, 2007 12:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is not about winning or losing it is about honesty. Anyway, there is no point of talking about honest to Australian as history proves the country is populated from prisoners (thieves from England was transported to Australia) who only knows how to cheat and cheat well

This is not new (cheating) to Australian cricket team this is the second time they have successfully done it. Remember the 1981 World Series Cup. For those Australian who cannot remember (or have no brains to recall) read the following (source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Underarm_bowling_incident_1981). The result was underarm balling was banned from international cricket, maybe we should ban Australian cricket team altogether from playing international cricket because they have done nothing but cheating so far

%u201CA controversial incident occurred in the final of the Benson & Hedges World Series Cup at the MCG in 1981 when Australian bowler (Trevor Chappell) rolled the final ball along the ground to avoid the possibility of it being hit for the six runs that New Zealand needed to tie the match. For a full account of this incident, see: Underarm bowling incident 1981.%u201D

Thieves and prisoners??!! Read your history my friend and you will see how incorrect (and offensive) your statement is.

Now getting onto that 1981 WSC game - yep, that was a disgrace - ask any Australian and thay will agree. Their response may enlighten you regarding the average Australian's belief in fair play. If you read the full history of this incident, you will note that the underarm bowl was ordered by the Captain of the team at the time - the same person hired by India to coach the 2007 world cup team. He's having a bad run over the last few decades apparently.

Just like in 1981, it will be a matter of time Australian%u2019s starts to apologies in shame of what they have done now in 2007. If anyone interested I am more than happy to send few more articles which proves how the Australians have cheated in the past (in Cricket and in other sports too).

As for the Ian Chappell, he is an Australian so I leave it Australians to decide how good he is.

I can only imagine the response of the Australians, if Sri Lanka had won the cup and later they discover Sri Lankan players (i.e. Jayasuriya, Mahela, Sangakara, etc) have used such tactics. Then all those who protect such tactics would have an entire different story to stay. It is bit funny when you think of their mentality (then again maybe it is the genetics, after all they come from such background. Read the following for more)

With regards to the history of Australia, I have got my facts right (just for your info, I am working for one of the leading libraries in the world and specialised in history!)

Following is what Dept. Of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australian Government (http://www.dfat.gov.au/aib/history.html) has to say about the convict history of Australia.

In all, about 160 000 men and women were brought to Australia as convicts from 1788 until penal transportation ended in 1868. The convicts were joined by free immigrants from the early 1790s

Look who is talking
by Kinner Shah on May 08, 2007 11:13 AM  Permalink

The Sri Lankans are crying foul over Gilchrist's Golf ball in glove issue saying that he was cheating. Look who's talking. The same Sri Lankan team who has got Muralidharan who has cheated with each and every of his single delivery that he has bowled in his whole career by chucking them. Isn't it laughable that they are complaining about Gilchrist who himself admitted what he did. If he thought that it was illegal, then would he have said what he did? If a Golf ball can help someone score 149, then why don't the Sri Lankans try it themselves? Have some sense here, please.

Gilchrist cheated to win the world cup final, 2007....
by IndianFan on May 02, 2007 10:31 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Drugs enhance athletes to achieve records; use of drugs is illegal for athletes and banned.
Use of heavy cricket bat is illegal which do not meet specification of ICC.
Using a squash ball in glove by Gilchrist to bat extraordinarily is it not illegal to win world cup final, 2007?
If any of the Asian team done this illegal act of Gilchrist, ICC would have stripped the cup and had given it to the opposite team%u2026

What a disgrace to the Cricket sport!

Mr. Indian Fan. Winners laugh and roar but then Losers always cry and whine. There is no point crying if you are not good enough. Try to learn from the best to improve yourself or else you will have to whine like this for your whole life.
