NewZealand has a better chance
by lvphanirajkumar on Apr 24, 2007 07:16 PM  Permalink

NZ has a better chance to win this match because of nature of Jamaica Wicket. If Bond get past top order, then chemera silva has to play cameo along with Dilshan ,and Arnold. If that happens SL has a better chance of winning this match. With Dilhara's Yorkers and Maliga reverse swing it will be difficult for NZ get away easily. Hope this will be a heck of a match.

NZ still the underdog...
by dinker radhakrishnan on Apr 24, 2007 07:04 PM  Permalink

Even though there may be bounce and seam in the wicket SL have Muralitharan who can turn the ball on glass.Along with Jayasurya he may stifle run scoring which may prove crucial. On SL's part its vital to see off the new ball attack of Bond and co.My bet s for Lanka....cos they ve more number of matchwinners...no practice or team spirit can substitute talent.

TOI eleven....

I read an article in the Times of India regarding the 'new look' India team....their moot question was why do the selectors still persist with some draggers??

Why is Rohit Sharma not included....this BCCI is like gangrene...it is slowly spreading and killing out cricket! I want them out!

There are also whispers which say the selectors were forced by the Board to select some people who are not required in the team! Blllleeeeaaaaaacccchhhh!!!
