You can have meat. In Mahabharat - Anushashan Parva, Ch. 88, if you read Bhisma gives the advice to Hridhistar. It is also mentioned in Manusmriti, Ch. No. 3, Verse No. 266 to 272 - It is mentioned there that%u2026 %u2018If you want to please your ancestors, if you give herbs and shrubs, you will gratify them only for one month - If you give fish, for two months - If you give %u2018Venison%u2019 the flesh of deer, for three months - if you give mutton, for four months - If you give flesh of birds for five months, - if you give Goat meat for six months - if you give spotted Deer, for seven months - if you give meat of black Antelope for eight months - if you give Cow, one full year - if you give Bull it is twelve years, and if you give Rhinoceros and red meat of Goat, for ever%u2026 Inexhaustible. So if you have to satisfy your ancestor, according to Rigved, you have to give more%u2026 you have to give red meat. I have purchased 2 T-shirts from rediff shoppings. In the advertisement they mentioned Brand as "POLO" but sent me "POLE". and one more thing, one of the T-shirts was already damaged. So "NEVER SHOP BY REDIFF SHOPPING"
