ON THE CORNER OF THE CARRIER
by sandesh shinde on Apr 24, 2007 04:40 PM  Permalink

there are so may people around you to say waht to do with your batting skills, but there are very few who will tell you what not to do. i feel you are a genius who is toying with the sky high abilities of your self. there is nothing wrong but your attitude is changed towards the game. it is not as intence as it was 5-7 years back. you may feel very casual when you get out but at the end of the day you just have to force the bowler to think " how many time shall i bowl to get his wicket?"
there was a moment when you were skipper vs S.A. at mumbai and made 90 odd at that time we flicckered one poster and it was a 2nd page photo by pradeep mandhani in mid day. the words in that poster were" dear sachin, if want to be a great batsman, never accept captaincy again" you left the captaincy after that series and rest was the history towards you genius batsmanship. now if there is any body to actually making this message to reach at you , it is our quote that "if you want to be known as genius batsman forever, never think of the past and dont look at the monetory sources just play on and on and let the bowler pay his sweat and blood for your wicket, dont think of the enjury, if it took place take a rest and bounce back whenever possible"
we dont want to be retire like kapil dev but like sunny gavaskar.

people should ask why he was retire??
rather than when he is going to retire??

that is the moment of fulfillment for you and every well wisher of you around the world

sandesh shinde
