I think its time you stop publising articles like these. Stop this hero worship. Today we all wish him ... and at the end of the next tournament, people are again at his throat.

Being a celebrity and having entertained billions of people for many years, he earns this right to have people wish him for his birthday on a public website. If you're not interested, get the hell outta here!

If Sachin was playing for his records then with his talent he could have easily scored 50 test and 75 one day hundreds. Over the past 17 years he was a role model to everyone and despite the huge fan following and so much achievement, success never went to his head,he is always normal. That is the reason he is still successful and popular despite people like you who are either jealous of him or do not know what you are writing. You will not understand this.

Sachin has been scoring runs in recent times. Yes, he failed in the world cup. but that doesnt mean he has to retire. you and me are not the people who decide when he should retire. its he himself who should decide when to retire. if people find his performance unsatisfactory, they can well drop him. if they drop him, you will say thats embarassing. but he has to decide whats best for him. which he can do, being 34 years old today!!
