The present aussie team is not as strong as the team which was under Steve Waugh 4-5 years back. Their bowling has been weakened compared to what it was earlier. They dont have have Warne and Lee in the team. Moreover most of the time its Hayden Gilchrist and Ponting who did the damage in teh present world cup. If any team can get top 3 out within frist 10 overs then their middle order is exposed which is not much experienced except Symonds. The only reason why other teams failed to beat them till now in this world cup is bcos nobody has strong bowling attack. Srilanka and New Zealand both could have beaten them if they had played Murlitharan, vaas and Shane Bond respectively.
australian are doing best.They are truely playing like world champion. Only misfortune and bad day can deprive them from world cup. otherwise they are best deserving team.

no doubt theyr the best team. but one day match nobody knows what happens. in 1983 india won the cup . were they superiour team . not at all . it was their day. u must remember that after world cup india played west indies in 5 odis and india lost 5-0/. check yr records . even if aust. lose wc bcs of one day badluck luck they will still remain the best team. prior to wc they lost several matches to new zland and england it didnot they were not top team.. in those matches pointing and gilchrist did not play most of the matches. and standby capt. did not bcxommand any respect from senior bowlers and even cd not defend several 300plus scores and lost . deep
South Africa have the best chance of beating the Aussies im the semifinal. Both teams have had some great ODIs in the past and if there is one team that can beat Aussies, it is the Proteas.

no my friend,as long as BCCI doesn't come out of the gr8 politics it's very difficult to have a good team. It's a shame that we stupid indians are made always foolish by the BCCI.
