Poor Chappel ! Leave him alone! No one can change our cricket's fortune...
by K Chandru on Apr 22, 2007 05:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Do u think Sachin or any other senior cricketer in our team will pay heed to anyone? leave alone the coach. With their head weighing more than their whole body, even the coach will not dare to advise or correct their flaws. Coaching Indian team will be the toughest job in the world. The players once they reach stardom, get to think they're Gods!

A coach can only perform his role to perfection if only the players can understand and obey him. Does anyone think, this can happen in India or Pakistan ?

Blame the players. It's they who need to perform in the field and implement whatever is told to them by the coach. Cricket is the last priority to our star players. They falsely get to think they're great. Time has proved them that they're far inferior; more inferior than the lesser mortals like Bangladeshis et all.

Gavaskar Whom are you defending?
by India on Apr 22, 2007 05:00 PM  Permalink

Gavaskar Whom are you defending? Guess whom it no one but Sachin. Both you guys are sincere in playing for records. I you have always defended Sachin in the past. There is no wonder you and Sachin blaming Chappell. No man in Universe can change Indian team as long as the players change their attitude.

chappel should be brought back
by PUNAM MAKHI on Apr 22, 2007 05:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

he was good for the team and was strict sachin tendulkar played his cards well and got offended before greg chappel could spill the beans on the senior players our players acted cunning and then greg chappel put in his papers thats what the senior players wanted so their secrets would remain so and they get rid of chappel who was making them slog and they were always threatened to perform better.

GET CHAPPEL BACK BCCI

It is easy to blame an outsider when the real culprit is Kiran More. He should be charged for being a traitor.

Sunny is saying so because Sachin has already expressed his displeasure over this issue.
And, Sunny doesn't like to go against media/public

The fact is Indian cricketers are a bunch of selfish/egoistic individuals. It's almost impossible to find a right guy to coach them.

Can sunny leave is media contract and agree to coach Indian team ?

Definitely not...

Gavaskar downsizing himself
by George Sebastian on Apr 22, 2007 04:57 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Indian cricket has to run like a professioaly managed organisation and should`t resemble Indian parliament. Chappel was right to bring in some kind of dicipline and an young talent search and he was not allowed to tap that by the big brothers of indian cricket for their own personal interests rather than the macro interest of the game to the common Indian cricket fans. The board is well aware of that and that is the very reason that he is entrusted with task and Gavaskar should at least now sit quiet and maintain his stature. May be he was eyeing that position
