Govaskar.. dont be so much desparate man. If you are so much worried why you did not opt the managers post?. Position of selection panel is still there for your asking. Get that responsibility. Your comments have become so cheap now. No body trusts your views any more. You have gone cheap with your commnets on Chappel.

GAVASKAR IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT.CHAPPEL HAS DONE ALL WRONG THINGS TO INDIAN CRICKET.ITS ONLY FOR CHAPPEL AND DRAVID INDIA TEAM HAS BECOME WEAK.
Chappel has done his job as an Australian, that is to say to demoralize the Indian team. And getting paid for it by the BCCI :: 1 Lakh US Dollars per year and all expenses paid. Sharad Pawar has not seen through his game who seems to know nothing more than putting all the files under his armpit and making motions of being in a hurry without any positive results . Anyway Sharad Pawar is proving to be a bad omen / PANAUTI for both the Indian farmers and the Indian Cricket Team, both of whom are committing suicides.

A 6 yr old child knows who spoiled the indian cricket. How Govaskar can blame Chappel for the downfall?. Inconsistant Sr. players & irresponsible juniors have finally burried the indian cricket. It is esy to comment being a commentator. Why he is suddenly speaks about indian team being dumped, the moment sachin is out of the team ?c'on Sunil be sportive.

Hello - u missing the point. Did Chappel bring anything new to indian cricket ? Did he unearth any new cricketing talent? This is about what Chappell and not about Gavaskar. If u don't like Gavaskar, or hsi role, perhaps that is another story. But to support Chappel is fool-hardy.

Selfish Gawaskar should not make comments about others. He is the one who spoiled Indian Cricket the most. Let him keep quiet and mind his own business.
If in Politics its Subramaniam Swany and Cho, in Cricket its Gavaskar... He yelled all over for his Son Inclusion, it never happened, he now Blames Chappell...

I was waiting some one should question on Greg and Board, and It could be Gavaskar only who can do that.
Don't misunderstood that seniors are responsible for WC debacle, just read these few lines :
1. when there is no talk between a coach and players for 4 days during the WC crucial match, you can very well understand the situation of mental tension between the players.
2. A coach's duty is not to select the team, but to keep fit the selected team and try to make best out of each player. Can you degrade your son so that he top the IIT, first you need to judge your son's capability and then help himchoose the best career and convince him he can do the best. Greg never acted as coach and only acted as a selector.
3. Coach's duty is to help Captain in deciding the XI and making him understand who can be the best at which place. yes you can rotate positions, but when you are winning and you have few such matches which you can afford to do experiments. Greg make dravid a confused captain on what is his duty. Dravid keep on experimenting even positioning himself on opening slot. Do you see Ponting or Lara open ? never !
4. Chappel played with the carerr of cricketer's making bad comments about them and making them insecure. What he has done, tried to make Pathan a super allrounder, where is now, not even in bagladesh tour.
5. Chappel commented, Dinesh Karthick a future captain, what about Karthick was not played in a single match in WC. Making Karthick as batsmen is again wrong, he will be struggling as like pathan in near future, its my words, you will see .
..... there are pleanty more, main reason of WC debacle was purely due to Coach and Board was not powerful even to sack him. Even board gave respect him after resigned. How can you summon Sachin and Yuvraj on a press interview, while Greg gave so many interviews and leaked information and you never summoned that.
It is good, our big bosses must speak loud again Chappel and the Board's decision., Kapil was always against Chappel and now Gavaskar, Rabi Shastri is kept shut being offered post , sandeep patil, gaekwad, amarnad all are not speaking only because they are in race of being coach.
I am sure you will see a lot against the Chappel in near future.
I would be Happy if Chappel coaches Aus talent, this will be easy way for the other teams (inclusing ireland) to win over aus.
