I absolutely agree with Sunny. Under Chappell, Indian Team has worsened only and he refused to take responsibility for the downslide of team and kept on blaming all and sundry till the very end. He also conveyed his messages through media with selective leaks rather than talking straight to players/captain/Board first. He had came with the sole aim of destabilizing Indian cricket and he succeeded fully with the help of BCCI and selfish people like Kiran More and Dravid.

Why couldn't GavaskaR open his mouth for 3 years? Why can't he take over as coach if he is so good????
Gavaskar's assessment is correct. Even I felt the same way. If Greg can be offered consulting post and heaped so much praise for all he did to Team India, then let's find out whether we did justice to John Wright. He did better as a coach. And Greg compares BCCI to Zimbabwe !!! This Australian is really blunt and doesn't know how to share a blame. Team India played pathetic and he was a COACH of that team !!!
I think Indian Cricket will be better off if people like Gavaskar and all stop talking. Why cant Gavaskar simply say Big Guns of Indian Cricket Tendulkar, Ganguly and Dravid did not deliver when it mattered the most. Thank God now his fellow commentator Mr "Edge and Takennnnn" is the so called manager cum coach , let see what he does to Indian Cricket. Let the young guns rule the indian cricket and people like mr gavaskar and co. pliz keep ur mouth shut we all have seen what has happened to Indian Cricket and whos is to be blames for it
