"Mission accomplished" This is what Greg would have been saying after India's exit in the first round.. I think there should be some kind of committee formed to investigate this issue... If someone looks at Chappel actions during his tenure as cricket coach.. he has created more controversies than improving the Indian side. Basically he made everyone fool and got what he wanted.. i.e. handsome money and destroying team India.. Chappel is having the laugh riot on the stupidity of BCCI...
The Aussies criticized him for commenting on the David Hookes incident (I side with the Aussies with that - there's no need to pull a dead player's personal life into any conversation), so he decides to get back at Chappell, just kidding.
Gavaskar's adorable protege' Tendulkar was a complete failure, why does not he ever make a statement about him?
Gavaskar is just too biased. It feels good when he supports Indians, but bias for a professional commentator is still not a good thing. At a minimum, he should bring out those biased remarks at home or to his close friends, not in public.
Some readers are using 'Report Abuse' to stop anything written is not to match their opinion. Rediff should keep track of of such readers and frequency and, stop such readers from excercising such options!!!

You are using abusive language and you are putting the same abusive message over and over again!!
If you have an attention seeking complex, then that is not the problem with this site!!
dunno worry, i have not reported for abuse, but i saw your messages, same stuff that talks about the lineage of Aussies, so what??
Sunny is right. Greg should be hanged for killing Indian cricket. Instead you guys are praising the person who ruined Indian cricket. When will you come out of inferiority complex?
Or dont you understand cricket at all? Just follow it for betting and earning your pocket money?
How silly gavaskar can get with his comments..as we all know, a coach cant go and perform on the feild..he is as good as the team. If u agree with gavaskar´s ridiculous arguments, then it is Buchanan who is winning the matches for aussies??The way they play, even without a coach, aussies r unbeatable..Get on with the truth and ignore Gavaskar´s sadistic comments..it is just sour grapes..How come he is not criticizing our much over rated top order??

Yep, Gavaskar got it wrong there, England are not blaming duncan Fletcher!
Or if aus win, the credit will not go to Buchanan!!

Players can play well only if they dont have headaches in the dressing room like greg. If constantly someone is irritating you how will you get any concentration. coach is there to encourage players not to discourage them or to leak the messages to media. No matter how bad a player is, its the coach responsibility to ensure that he does not say bad about them. India is worst in corruption. Does it mean our prime minister can go and say to other countries we are corrupted people. Will you be quite if our prime minister says so? then why are you being quite when greg says our players have attitude problem?
I dont know if Gavaskar does have any shame. Few days back he spoke about Australian team on sleding. Ponting responded by saying that he should worry more about India than Australia. They are also proving their point in every match they play. Now Gavaskar is speaking about Chappel. I think he is slinging mud on his own face. What Gavaskar has done to Indian cricket except showing bias and selfishness? At the helm of affairs one should look at how to improve the game in India rather than playing the blame game. Every one knows Gavaskar's game and we cannot still forget how may winning matches were converted to drawn games for the sake of setting records. Gavaskar, my advise to you is to simply shut up and concentrate on improving the Indian team. That's why you are paid for and please no more bias towards Mumbai players.
