He's become old. Reflexes have vaned. He needs to accept realities and play within his limitations. If he still thinks, he's Maharaja he used to be before years and thinks he can handle any bowlers or any ball, his doom days only will be numbered. He can extend his career only if he plays to his age and limitations. If he still thinks like an 18 year old, it's better he quits for the sake of Indian cricket.

We lost against Bangladesh because of bad captaincy and bad team management. Not for batting failure . 191 against Bangladesh in sticky pitch is always a defendable under a different Captain. Here are the points 1. Wrong team selection, Kumble should have picked, why Uthappa & Sehwag both in the team what was their individual role as a batsman in the team throughout the WC?? Why Dravid is not in number 3? 2. Munaf who just had a 5 wicket haul in the previous game should have started the bowling or should have brought in attack within first 5 overs, seeing other two are not performing. 3. Should have used Harbhajan, Sehwag, Sachin & Yuvraj lot early after seeing the Bangladesh spinners. 4. Why nourishing Irfan for last two years to make him India%u2019s trump card in WC and not using him at all? THE BIGGEST MANAGEMENT BLUNDER OF ALL TIME IN CRICKET HISTORY!!
Two years back India was a threat to Australia. Now we are worried about even Bangladesh tour.Thanks to Greg Chappel who played politics with the players, Indian cricket is in shambles. BCCI and the selectors are cofused. The players are looking at each other with suspicion.Greg brought a promising player like Pathan into a cofused man by giving importance to his batting instead of bowling which is his strength. He also was responsible for the rift between the seniors , who were united during the time of Wright. Greg also played with the batting position so much that all the batsmen are cofused and this eventually resulted in the poor performance in the world cup. Even our great wall could not perform. Then Greg cleverly twisted the issue by blaming the seniors and their attitude, calling them mafia and made the board believe that is was not he but the seniors are responsible fot early exit. This has started the blaming game. Chappel must be enjoying himself by reading all the cricketing news from India and having the last laugh!

The same logc can be applied to Sachin's remark also. He also never spoke before ( in all his 18 years of cricket). So why don't the board take him seriously and discuss with the players including the spineless captain who does't want to face any problem and wants to run away from it. The captain ,the players and the board could have sat and discussed the issue intead of treating adn deciding onesidedly.
