Yogesh,

Agreed that we are all cricket fans , but do u think we deserve to be in super 8 just bcos of out past records.... Results are all that matters and especially on that particular day. If we cannot perform we dont deserve to be in super8

YES and i smell match fixing ....Dravid playing rash stroke under bangladesh....when team is in trouble. He also opted for sachin to bowl seam on spining wicket and delayed yuvraj and sehwag with the bowl.

Dravid fixed the match.

Mr Nanda.......Rahul is the gentleman Cricketer. Dont blame him. The two ex-capts Sachin/Saurov are the real culprits for the downfall of the Indian Team, who should be taken to task. Both Sachin/Saurov should be declared persona non grata by BCCI and sent to Somalia to enjoy the life there for sometime.

Hi Raman,
Do you remember Dravid declared the India Innings against pakistan, when Sachin was 4 runs short of his Double Hundred? It was not a ODI, it was a Test Match. Use your logic. Dravid should be sent to Bermuda Traingle never to be seen again

Throw the deadwoods Sachin/Saurov/Shewag/Harbhajan and start rebuilding the team. Our team again will deliver.

WC: Eng. vs SA
by Kumarendra Mallick on Apr 18, 2007 12:00 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Well, Mr. Vaughan, you know why Eng has lost. Isn't it because of your dislike of versatile Flintof. India faced the same problem: Ganguly never wanted Rahul to be captain, and Vengsarkar hinted to dethrone Rahul by putting Sachin as his deputy. India had a fractured team, fractured first by Vengsarkar and then by inclusion og Ganguly. Making 50-60 runs and to be in the team is not the goal, the destination is victory.

England deserved
by Premkumar Robert on Apr 18, 2007 11:54 AM  Permalink

The present England team does not deserve to be in last four. Excepting Collingwood all others are out of form. Vaughan should step down as captain and Collingwood should take the captaincy.

ENG and SA - pls don't play ODI's
by chandra mouli natarajan on Apr 18, 2007 11:51 AM  Permalink

SA and ENG, pls. stop playing ODI's, as u don't 've the right tempo to play this format. ENG - 3 times to finals and 3 times to semis and not even once held the cup. SA - twice semifinalists out of 5 appearances, still yet to win the cup and how many times they are termed the favorties. Aussies are the favorites to win this trophy. If there is an upset, then the cup cud go to either NZ or SL, certainly not SA.

Eng
by chris on Apr 18, 2007 11:47 AM  Permalink

Its really sad that england have not been performing well in one day's.. they should have given 100% performance to win the world cup as it was they who introduced the game to the world and still has not won a world cup..
they only think of the ashes come on england even the world cup is important and supporters are looking forward to see you guys lift the cup...
anyways better luck in the next world cup..
