New World Cup
by Samir Gaonkar on Apr 18, 2007 12:51 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

England, India, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, and some new teams such as China (if they are willing to play of course against these oldies) should play in new world cup. Then we may have chance of winning and some of our players may score centuries too. Of course there is no guarantee that we will win and we may get beaten by China too.

Sourav Ganguly cannot play in this team cos he is the captain of Bengal.

Sachin Tendulkar is confirmed to play the 2222 world cup. So he cannot be included too

Coaches have little experience. Tell me who played more than Sachin and Saurav to coach them. Nobody played more than 18 years of cricket. So, if at all they need any help sachin will help them

Over to Mike Atherton
by harifromchennai on Apr 18, 2007 12:29 PM  Permalink

Mike Atherton should help England team to find out what went wrong. England is missing Mike's service very badly as he is more engaged and is more interested in Indian Cricket and its future. Mike should also sit with Ian in helping the inventors of Cricket to win the world cup atleast once instead of commenting on Sachin's future.

Mr. Speed, also will realise the matter of fact that england has not won world cup till date, instead of commenting on India's performance world wide

England
by DON on Apr 18, 2007 12:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

England lost because of out of form Vaughan and Flintoff, two of thier ey players. Also, bowling lacked teeth, and feilding was done obligatory. The couldnt have succeded in going more far...it was fair enough result.

England never showed desire to win. The key players Trescothik, Simon Jones, Ashley Giles were not in the team. What heppened to them? Harmisson too is not there after he retired.
Bowlers like Sajid Mahmood, panesar are pathetic.

True, Infact Flintoff was a total failure. ENG Need / expect a lot from Flinty. Anyway, as usual, 4 very best teams are in SEMIs
