I think, it wasnt just sheer luck for Ireland, they proved to be a better team. I have respected their bowling attack throughout.If they do polish themselves, Ireland is here to stay in the cricket's international arena.
Bangladesh beat India and South Africa. Ireland beat Pakistan and Bangladesh. Bangladesh and Ireland cannot be termed as minnows anymore. Have their places been taken over by India, West Indies and Pak for sure? If Indian cricket is run only by money and not quality cricket then Indian cricket will soon reach the level of hockey. Or has it already?
Where is captain of bangladesh now, was shouting like a dog that his team is great and can defeat big teams. ha ha ha now Ireland defeated them. LOL!!!!!!!!!!

They will be happily keeping the bangles if its made of gold. As all forms of money is welcome for them, excepting one or two players like Gangulay and Kumble.

Bangadesh totally outplayed india in the Tie, it was not luckily. In all departments our players failed. Specially i say it was very pathetic to see this india team's fielding. Cricket is going to be a power game from now on, and unless our players concentrate on physical and mental fitness its difficult to stand international cricket heat.
Ireland have beaten Bangladesh.. something India could not do... It shows that as of today, Ireland is a much better side than India.. and therefore deserved to be in last eights rather than India.

BCCI is a gutless and chacterless body. It is not being held in high esteem by either the players or others. Just remember how Ponting teased and made fun of Pawar. It has no image of transperancy. With the arrival of a politician at it helm of affairs things are becoming more obscure and hypocrisy is evident. These politicians have no guts at all. They can not take any harsh decisions but ride on the wave of public sentiments and emotions. Dalmiya whatever be the allegations against him was the last good thing that happened to BCCI.

Dont forget my dear friend that BCCI doesn't go the field and play, its players only. But you are true that Politicians / Politics shud not come to sport bodies. As we can see what happened to indian hockey, which was at top of the world in 1975. Just to remember you, what Malcolm speed commented once, that Board is known for how good a Cricket Team it has, and not by the money it has in its pocket.
Ireland,you are the star of this world cup.Keep up all your good work.One day(probably the next weorld cup),you will be world champion.Ireland deserves the test status just like Bangladesh.All the best to Ireland.
