he has totaly failed as a captain & he should take the full responsibility & resign. bcs it was his & chapell plans that sinked india in the world cup & nothing else. the first and the most important mistake was to send tendulkar down the order. tendulkar should open and not come down the order.if dravid has stuck to the successfull formula that is to open with tendulkar & sehwag then india would have atleast reached semis if not won the world cup. so mr. dravid pls. try to take the responsibility also bcs u always wants to have authority

if senior playes can get negative motivation / inspiration to group against captain, and playe deliberarly negative circket and gift the match to Bangla and SL what captain can do for taht??? A horse can be taken to water force to drink but sallowing or vomitting water will be done by horse it is senior players betryed the team and captain also no cpatin can't win matches when all the members are not with the captain. Most of the matches won by India under ganguly was because of Dravid's great knock and selfless attitude by way of keeping wickets and batting like a champion!!! At any nos. but dravid trusted seniors like sachin, yuvraj ganguly zahir and bajji but backfired by these palyers IN NDTV poll 80% cricketers told dravid continue to as captain where in ndtv programme ganguly paid ageent jadeja and siddu scrreams on top voice anti dravid and pro ganguly on daily basis Cricnext.com Sanyjah 100% supporte of ganguly Should Rahul Dravid be replaced as the captain of the Indian team? And the answer was in the negative with 86 per cent saying he should not be removed with only nine per cent saying that he should be replaced. The rest five per cent did not have any opinion. you are absoletely right suman dravid in my view is complete cricketer unselfish and committed you might have looked at dravid face when india lost against lanka it was self expressive but ganguly yuvraj harbhajan zaheer jubiliated inside and ganguly aspiring to become captain i think it is best to remove ganguly yuvraj sachin bhajji from the team.
I don't think that Shastri can be a good coach, as he doesn't have a proven record as a professional coach. We need professional coaches who can train the team, formulate good strategies suiting the team for various situations, especially while playing on foreign grounds. You may recall that India started winning test matches outside the subcontinent when they were playing under foreign coaches (John Wright and Greg Chappel). Because, they know what should be the composition and strategy to be adopted by the playing eleven under such circumstances. The best choice would be either to bring back John Wright or get Dav Whatmore, who has excellent record in coaching Asian Teams, for coaching Indian Team. Also, dumbing players like Tendulkar, Ganguly, Sehwag, etc. who refused to follow the game plan on the ground would do whole world of good to Indian cricket as it convey the right message to the future prospective players. Performance oriented payment is also a good sign. The current payment system is not good at all. We all know that Tendulkar bracketed in the top grade was paid very heavily for his very poor performances. Let's appreciate Tendulkar for his achievements and scoring abilities, but the selection should be purely merited on current form and performance and should not be based on past achievements. You are talking about Sachin, the best player of all time, and Ganguly, a moron who is still 10 times better than Dig Dravid. Why not kick Dravid, unless you are a Dig too?

Ok. Let me clarify that I am a Tamil from Chennai. We have literally taken over their big city Bangalore. They cannot even get jobs in their own city. What spine you expect from such people. Hail Cauvery !!
Dravid is a big embarrassment as a captain. He has no control on the team. Chappell and Sachin are fighting with each other and our 'captain' who should call the shots si a mute spectator. If Dravid is a good captain, tell me who is worse than him in World Cricket at the moment ? Perhaps Inzamamam. Habibul Bashar is a smart captain, may be not a great batsman like Dravid. Ponting, Jayawardene, Fleming, Lara, Vaughn are all miles ahead of Dravid as a captain. The term leader can't be used with Dravid.
