RE:SHASTRIJI, V PRASAD, YOUNG DRACULLAS, OLD DRAVID - mixed curry?

In future, v will have Specialist coaches for specialist jobs like, Opening Coach, Middle Order Coach, Wicket Keeper Coach, Fast bowler Coach, Spinner Coach, etc.etc.etc.... I don't understand why they do not go for a single professional coach who has proven record training professional cricketers!

Hi Mr. Kaarthik Ramaprasad, Can you suggest a book which advises different coaches for different disciplines??? Just giving the job to old successful players would not be of any help. You know how India performed with Kapil Dev as the Coach! And, can you tell me where I was wrong in my comments..? Hope you knows everythig about Indian cricket..!

abe karthik ramprasad dont talk like the tamil fellows... what is wrong with the comment from joseph? bnencod tamil like fellows should be send back to srilanka to be killed by sinhalese.....hahahahaaa
I don't think that Shastri can be a good coach, as he doesn't have a proven record as a professional coach. We need professional coaches who can train the team, formulate good strategies suiting the team for various situations, especially while playing on foreign grounds. You may recall that India started winning test matches outside the subcontinent when they were playing under foreign coaches (John Wright and Greg Chappel). Because, they know what should be the composition and strategy to be adopted by the playing eleven under such circumstances. The best choice would be either to bring back John Wright or get Dav Whatmore, who has excellent record in coaching Asian Teams, for coaching Indian Team. Also, dumbing players like Tendulkar, Ganguly, Sehwag, etc. who refused to follow the game plan on the ground would do whole world of good to Indian cricket as it convey the right message to the future prospective players. Performance oriented payment is also a good sign. The current payment system is not good at all. We all know that Tendulkar bracketed in the top grade was paid very heavily for his very poor performances. Let's appreciate Tendulkar for his achievements and scoring abilities, but the selection should be purely merited on current form and performance and should not be based on past achievements.
He he he ha ha ha... I'm rolling on the floor laughing out loud. Dravid has proved his ability???
What ability are we talking about? His ability to not hit sixes (Only 33 sixes in 300 ODIs), even Agarkar has more;
HIs ability to not motivate his team? He has failed at bringing cohesiveness and unity in the team. Isn't that one of the Captain's job?
His ability to show no innovation and let the game take its course? He stood there without a clue when Tamim and Co. blasted India. The total wasn't very easy 190 odd but they won the match without any resistance;
His ability to go into a shell and cause the players in the dressing room to think that the pitch has devils in it or the bowling is first rate... Getting out lbw in the Bangladesh match playing across the line to spinners when we are considered the best players of spin.
What ability are you talkin about Mr. Chauhan? If you do not have any ability to judge cricketers, just keep your mouth shut and save India from all these biased opinions. Everybody has an opinion but in Dravid's case, the majority is unanimous that he doesn't have the spine to be a captain.
He can never single-handedly win a match for India. Even if he plays for the full 50 overs, he can only manage 110 runs.
I find this interview funny and amusing and very very frustrating. Rediff, don't you have any thing better to do than print the interview of this moron who was always the victim of Nervous Nineties. Chetan Chauhan has a lot of scores above 90 but not a single 100.
This proves that he always played for records and in doing so, got nervous and never had the courage to cross the three figure mark.
Sherawat babe would be the right coach for this team. All regionalism will go in a day, as seniors and juniors, northerners and southerners alike will taste her. They will start performing just to get a good role in the gangbang.
By the way, if Mallika is too busy in sleeping with the SP bigwigs in Lucknow, we can approach our own Namitha from Mollywood.

Suggestion is good but then it may lead to Ball Tempering and Pitch Damageing allegations.
Indian captains in ODIs Names Matches Won Lost Drawn/Tied Won% Kapil Dev 74 40 32 2 54.05% M Azharuddin 173 89 76 6/2 51.45% SR Tendulkar 73 23 43 6/1 31.51% SC Ganguly 146 76 65 5 52.05% R Dravid 65 33 28 4 50.77% ganguly captaincy advantage of leading more nos of matcges for 5 yrs) while dravid is leading team from last 16 motnths. the difference of winning average of oids under ganguly cpataincy and dravid is only 1.2% dravid many odis and tests without gangulys and tendulakar while ganguly succes was anchored by dravid and sachin laxaman and kuble. Not B'UZ OF LEADERSHIP QUALITY OR AGRESSSION One more win WC team would gone to Sleague and there won't be question of changeing captaincy. ganguly used wc event to humiliated dravid and betrayed team. ganguly deliberately played negative cricket, played big role in defeat against match bangldesh early wc exit means ganguly 's record did not harm, and prove dravid is not good captainNOW GANGULY IS ONLY RUNNING FRONT FOR CAPTAINCY RACE SIMPLY BACKSTAGE POLITICS NOT AGGRESSION OR LEADERHSHIP QUALITY

His predecessor was a fish-eating moron. However, he rescued the team from match-fixers like Azhar, brought the winning habit and took us to the finals of 2003. Dravid has the spectacular performance of 2007 to write home about.
