I don't know why , but I think this world cup should be worst and most incompetent cricket competition ever . Somebody plz tell the ICC to arrange the final b/w Australia v/s Sri Lanka ,by far the two most complete teams ,and finish this horror show as soon as possible

Australia is superb as always.The defeats before the world cup came as a wake up call for australians bored with all the wins they earned from last 8 years.Everybody should learn from Australians.They challenge every other team and they perform to that challenge.They are the real tigers.Indian team lack this killer instinct.

honestly , england disappointed.. i mean, they had a serious chance of putting 300 against team like australia.. its a privilage, it should make you more alert.. but they gave in! they deserved to br thrashed.. not only thrashed, their throats should be slit open. lets have cricket like gladiators.. the losers should be fed to lions and crocodiles.. only then will we see teams like england , india, pakistan do their best..
Last nights match - England Vs. Aus - brought forth the fact that England is no better a team than India. At the halfway stage of their innings, Eng seemed all set to post a total of 300 and ultimately finished with 247 (under 5 an over). This is so much like how India would normally play. I guess the upcoming India Vs. England series can be labelled CLASH OF THE MINNOWS !
What good is it to follow Indian cricket if these non athletes can't beat a team like Bangladesh? First to all the die hard fans in India, I would suggest not to appear in any games being played at home unless the team wins a road one-day series in Aus, SA, NZ, Eng & WI. Until then just follow other countries because these fools will not change their attitudes.
Since I live in the US and just saw the 2 matches partly, I can say for sure they thoroughly don't have the guts, confidence, mindset and stamina to perform like these other countries. Fielding is atrocious.
All these changes by Bullshit CCI are not going to impact anything. dravid is still captain. he looks like he is crying half the time. Ganguly, Tend, Harbhajan Agarkar, Zaheer & munaf should be throw out. All are useless characters!!

Why did you change Tendulkar to bat #4? Look at Jayasuriya, Gilchrist or Fleming!! Haven't seen them batting at a different #. Chappell & Tendulkar are to be blamed since I feel there is no communication about this!!
Do we have batsman who will bat till #8? Agarkar, Harbhajan should be asked why can't u bat? Sack them ASAP!! Bunch of jokers!!

Make Yuvi captain, Keep pathan, uttapa, kartik, sreesanth and get 6 new fresh players who will be passionate about playing for India!!
Also one last thing, for the upcoming tours what are the players doing? Are they watching how certain bangladeshis play? What tactis to use against certain players? Who is weak against spin, pace? It takes preparation, commitment and long hours of practice to win consistently!!
Its as simple as that!! Coach should be whomever but players need to perform!! No pain no gain..

Ummmm not true. Most high draft picks out of college or high school get multimillion dollar contracts and endorsement deals before playing in the big leagues. At least 50% of them do not turn out to be great players. Get your facts right dude.
Australian cricket team deserves to be on top. They have everything it takes to be on top character, discipline, skill, togetherness. I wish Indian team well and come out strong.
Hi guys, I think the board has taken a right stand by restricting the players to 3 companies. By this way they will be able to concentrate on their sole target and job-TO PLAY WELL CONSISTENTELY.
In the past what used to happen is the new guys who do well used to go mad by signing 10-12 companies straight away after performing in 10-12 matches as if they want to earn the bucks for their whole life in 1 year. Money's "HAVAS" is always bad. By this policy they will still earn a reasonable amount of money but this policy will also force them to perform more n more better so that they can earn that much money from 3 companies which they used to earn from 7-8 companies. This urge of continuous performance will help ultimately our team. Board must stick with this policy and should not change it in future what so ever the circumstances. The other good thing the board has done is abolishing the CONTRACT system which keeps the players on guard always becos this will going to be their sole source of income from matches.
WHATEVER, but tell me guys isn't that shame for us that our players are driven by money and not by National Pride. Look at Aussies 'The Baggy Green Cap' is enough for him to do good performance. Playing for Australia is enough for him. Alas, would that our players develop that LOVE FOR THE NATION.

There is nothing wrong in even endorsing 30 ads, but you are expected to play.
The reason for the defeat is not endorsements. It is because the Selectors selected all lame ducks and injured old horses. Did Sewagh, Irphan, Sachin had cleared the fitness Test? They didn't and still found their places int he WC squad. Agarkar is in the Team despite his repeated worst performances. Where are we will not give more than one chance for the budding lads like VRV Singh. Why the chances were not give for the Fit players like Balaji and Nehra.Why didn't the select VVS.Laxman in the first place instead of Sewagh?
The Team lost because of the wrong selection and not because the members were endorsing Products.
