Mr. manish , In that case tell in your opinion who is the indian batsman who enabled an indian win single handedly more than 5 times single handedly in its entire history ? answer is No one. (India has never produced batsmen like Javed Miandad, VIV Richards, Ponting, Jayasuria, Arjuna Ranatunga, Greenidge, Dean Jones , steve waugh, mike Bevan etc etc who had won many, manymatches for their countries). Under that background Sachin is slightly better COMPARED TO other Indian Batsmen - nothing more, So he is hero because there is no other worthies around. what do u say ?

Have you ever even played gully cricket, you bozo ? That OAF is 17 years old in Indian cricket, if he is the greatest, why has India not won in a single WC he featured ? bang on target India need a team of eleven players who scores 10 runs when matters and India wins And not other wise Scoring tons of runs at Flat pitches and against minnows for self record.Can any body tell me when sachin has pulled India out for a vicrory except for two matches back to back at sharjah agains Australia. He is compared to Bradman but see he has played 5 world-cups and India came empty handed,and see his PR &COMMISSION AGENT GAVASKAR SUPPORTING him to play till 2011.I think Gavaskar is forgetting this is Indian Team and not Mumbai team. Ravi Shastri is a good cricketing brain. So he may be useful and let him work alone without back pressure. But why Rahul Dravid again?? Please we all are aware about his leadership capabilities.. who only interesetd to execute Coach's idea not his own and as a result all preoccupied plans becomes failure. We need a captain who can execute decissions based on the situation on the field. look on Grame Smith, the south african captain. What a body language and command! He is agreesive and at the same time knows what to execute when.. Only one man is having such qualities- none other than Sourav Ganguly.

India has reached 2 champions trophy final and 1 world cup final under saurav and won the natwest trophy in England. so all indians achieved it not only the KOLKATANS. OUT of the 2 champions trophy we became joint winner once in Srilanka; India were in a very good position on that match to win the trophy but rain spoiled the party. we drew series in AUSTRALIA under saurav, no team in the world has done that in recent past. so Mr.Pranesh are you interested only in regional glory and think kolkata and kolkatans are out of India?

i surely admit that if India wants to lift the next world cup it can be only under Saurav Ganguly.Dravid can only be a player but his lack of aggrssion in the field does not benefit Indian Cricket team

i agree that saurav is a great captain and rahul can't match him any way in leadership quality but i don't think saurav and rahul will play the next world cup due to their age. better to make saurav captain for 1 year and yuvraj his deputy. saurav is enable to bring back the fire in Indian cricket and make yuvi the future captain. though it is a remote possibility. bcci will afraid to give a tough guy like saurav the captaincy and will opt for soft puppet rahul. rahul has failed to reach super 8 as a captain and so he will be rewarded. guru greg has ruined team india and failed to make a single cricketer so he will be rewarded to head the national cricket academy. that is Indian cricket.

Anybody and everybody who knows something about cricket the world over is busy making money out of it.
When Greg took over Indian team it was doing fine untill this Sharad Power enter to BCCI, when this politician become chairman all players started to make politics in cricket. unless Omitting this guy indian cricket will never improve.

With Ravi Shastri accepting the offer of Manager/Coach of Indian Cricket team...it's Good for Indian Team but it'll be excellent if BCCI offers Navjot Singh Sidhu as Media Manager....and No player should be allowed to talk to media and it should be only Mr Sidhu who should do the talking and let the players do for what they are hired for......
