I personally feel that Indian Cricket at this moment is like putting a Cart before the Horse.Greg Chappell's downfall was that he is a No Nonsense Guy and believes that if there is a Job it has to be done.But we Indians are always looking for shortcuts and excuses and when we fail which is pretty regular nowadays we look for scape goats and find one that is not an Indian to vent our feelings on.What Indian Cricket needs is people dedicated to the cause of India and not to their personal well being.India needs to get rid of guys who have become excess baggage and get guys who are hungry to succeed as nothing is more sweeter than success.So my friends instead of passing on the buck to others why don't we blame ourselves for the ill that has begotten Indian Cricket.
1)In forthcoming Indo-Pak match, declaring the winner: If Pakistan bats first and scores x runs then the target for India will be revised to x/2. They need to score (x/2) I runs to be declared winner. If India bats first then the number of overs for Pakistan will be reduced to 25. Even after these modifications India contrive to lose, they will be awarded psychological victory. 2) Fielding restrictions: When India is fielding, as soon as any fielder touches the ball, it will be deemed as dead ball and Pakistan batsmen will only be allowed to complete that run. This modification is being done to eliminate time being wasted for overthrows etc. 3) By popular demand from Indian players, a few additional coaches have been included in the touring party with immediate effect. They are: Batting coach : Ravi Shastri. Bowling Coach (with experience in Sharjah conditions): Chetan Sharma. Fielding Coach : Ravi Shastri (Dual responsibility). TV Commercials Coach : Salman Khan. Video Coach : Name will be announced later. 4)In 2011 World Cup- As the deadline to submit final 15 players for the World Cup is over, the result of the match on 18th April between 1983 Indian team and the current team will not have any bearing on the team touring. Ravi Shastri was absolutely the wrong choice. He is the most greedy of the lot, does not play for the team plays if there is a good offer for the man of the series. Chappel should be sacked immediately Dravid should be continued as the captian. Tendulkar should be droped for a couple of series along with Sehwag Ganguly, Yuvraj, Agarkar and Harbajan should be asked to be consistent or be faced the axe. ROBIN SINGH should be made the coach with full authority
hi shastri having outstandig capacity, he will not single ball to keeper & defence them making 10 runs for 100 balls,with his guidence no work to bangladesh keeper, let him bring bedsheet & sleep behind the stumps
Meeting was nothing extra-ordinary ,Dravid should be sacked as ODI Captain ,Yuvraj can be better choice for the time being .Chappel is correctly offered a consultant job ,Whatmore can be choice for Coach or Moody can also be given a chance to prove his point ,but contract should not be more then 1 year .Senior should perform well or should be dropped ,no past 15-20 yrs contribution ,this is their profession even they have got maximum ( MONEY & FAME )out of cricket .
