Dravid
by Rajendra Bongale on Apr 08, 2007 06:52 PM  Permalink

Injamam immediately relenquished captaincy when his team out out in very 1st round of WC.And our Captain shamelessly finding excuses to retain his post. This man is adamant, egoistic and yesman of BCCI.Actually instead of asking his explanation for humiliating exit from WC,instead of holding his responsible for insitance of sehwag in the team the BCCI has given him Captainship once again which send a bad signal. But BCCI must have thought that a rubberstamp captain is more useful than a agressive Ganguly. Now he will pick up a team barring Ganguly,Sachin or Bhajji and will take a young team as er directions of BCCI.If he wins there with new team,he will say look how young players help in winning. If he looses then he will say well it was unexperienced team and we have to learn lot.Shame on u Dravid.

Right now even galli ka choras can play better cricket then, these super models. Of course, since you feel so nice towards these losers, you can prepare garlands made of pepsi cans for you idols and worship them.

Who is the loser you? I think you are an advertiser on Set Max who has lost lot of money. Poor boy, learn from Coke they dumped all cricketers from their ad campaigns.

I guess you liked watching the team lose, thats why you are still supporting those uncles in blue.

The worst is yet to come
by Anirban Dasgupta on Apr 08, 2007 04:51 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Shame on you Rahul! I will always rate you the best batsman of our era (better than even Sachin) but you are the most spineles and selfish captain to have ever played the game of cricket. You are sick and you suffer from inferiority complex. You know very well that Sourav is far better than you as captain and hence wanted to keep him away from the team. Forgot the period when you were thrown out of the ODI team and Sourav helped you regain your place by giving you the chance to stand in as a wicket keeper. You have back-stabbed a friend and a gentleman and this is going to haunt you for the rest of your life. No one can ever imagine how dirty and filthy a mind you have. By making you as the captain again, the BCCI has made an enormous blunder. Guys, if you thought the first round exit at the World Cup was bad then you have not seen yet. The worst is yet to come!

Dear Anirban, I agree with you that Rahul dravid is the greatest batsman of this era....definately much much greater than Sachin Tendulkar. Mark my words, even the so called Mumbai lobby who supports Sachin blindly will agree within the next six months!! The world has come to know now what Sachin is !! Not a single decent knock against sides like Australia, SA, NZ OR even Bangladesh!! But my dear friend just wait and see what Dravid will do with a young team of his choice. Unfortunately for Dravid , he had no support as a captain either from the presumably great Tendulkar and Ganguly (Ganguly really came across as very selfish, why didnt he back Dravid , the way Dravid used to back Ganguly completely when dada was captain, just check the record book Anirban and you will find that most of the success of Ganguly is because of RAHUL DRAVID"S WALL LIKE performances !!). I think now the board shud drop the following players from the Bdesh tour Sachin Tendulkar, Ajit Agarkar, ZAheer Khan, Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh, HArbhajan Singh and replace them with the performing youngsters from across the country- Jai Hind

Dada and Dravid both are outdated commodities, way past their expiry date in Indian cricket team. I sympathize with you obviously you are crazy over him, because good players like Dada come from Bengal like Halley's comet i.e once in 76 years.

My views simple, throw out all old players and take new players and watch the fun. That is the state of Indian cricketers who have all their life on flat tracks. Check out BCCI's response they still haven't bothered to address the issue of replacing flat tracks with fast bouncy wickets.

what in the name of nationalist crap. you have been promoting hate, nothing else. talk cricket, not regionalism. ganguly ganguly and more ganguly. he should be the captan, he should be the best player, he should be honuored, and feted, etc etc. and conveniently gloss over his flaws. you guys will never learn.

the last thing we need is regionalism.
