BCCI wants to have worst cricket Captain in History.. it would be Rahul Dravid. He is a great batsman but no attitude or capability of a leadership. He evn is not capable of leading a domestic Team as Captain.Indian Cricket team will loose in Bangladesh and then we will have hopefully..new captain.Even Any Captain of Ranji team would be better captain than him

He is still great in slow pitches. In south Africa he could not show any greatness. he, too, is same age of Sachin n Sourav. his batting, too, is on the wane.

Dravid is a good batsman who can keep wkts if needed.But he is the best in leaking Chappel's wrong places

Ummm, I don't see like team should die. But, I have changed (my perspective) a lots after moving to US in 1994 (Earlier I used to play good cricket till my KGP days!!)

Yep, more fun for me with MotoGP, F1, Tennis, Golf, Indy Racing, and a half a dozen more ;-)
Note: Should confess honestly that - the day when my friends ended up with broken hearts after seeing the Bangladesh burying India (all five are even now angry!!), have told myself - enough is enough, no more cricket for me!!! (but still I write on this forums - maybe that's what being Indian is about???)

Who cares money when one doesn't have the character?? People loath a non-winning (always) person or team or company or you or me!!
I wonder as to why the intelligent officials of the BCCI, the richest sports body in our country, failed to include the following clauses :
1) No players should be with their family 1 month prior to any tour.
2) No player will be ALLOWED to marry, unless they get prior permission from the BCCI.
3) No player will be ALLOWED to bear a child without the permission of BCCI.
4) Selection of girl for the marriage of any player should be approved by a panel to be appointed by BCCI.
5) No player should have a Telephone connection, either mobile or landline when he is representing the BCCI.
6) No player should read any Newspaper.
7) No player would be ALLOWED to watch TV, specifically news channels.
8) If any player is employed somewhere, they should forward their Salary Certificate to BCCI every month.
9) The Bank accounts of the players should jointly be operated by the player and a member of BCCI. Reasons for withdrawals / expenses should be explained to BCCI well in advance.
10) The players should dine only in the Hotels to be approved by the Board and a copy of the Bill should be forwarded to the BCCI.
11) The players will not be ALLOWED to speak to their family and friends, by any means, when they are participating in a tour.
12) No player would be ALLOWED to leave mid-tour, in case of any family bereavement.
If the BCCI includes the above clauses, along with the proposed clauses, then each and every Indian batsman would score centuries in all their matches and every bowler would take 5 wickets in 5 balls, as their concentration would remain undivided on Cricket. India will win each and every match they play.
What a brilliant way to run the game of cricket in a democratic country!!!! Hell with the BCCI!!!

Yep!! I don't think this kinda nonsense is needed. We can take here Football as an example (much more violent & demanding game w.r.t Coach/Manager/Police angle).
None of the Seniors should be included in the one day team. They are a tired lot, and cannot match the fitness and endurance of the Australian team. They may be given limited chance in the test team.
More over what about the Batting Coach? Is Ravi Shastri the new Batting Coach?
A political party promises people and dont fulfilled it. BCCI has also followed the same ignoring the feeling of very cricket viewers. I bet nothing is going to change. Ravi or any Godfather cant make changes unless Seniors change their attitude or been sacked. A great joke is Prasad being a bowling coach. Robin can coach better in feilding but will Senior listen to him is doubt. So there is no change of team. Mr.Pawar has failed in his ministry as well as being a BCCI President. As a end result we cant expect much difference with Indian team. Any viewers watching cricket will be made fools. I bet that in next couple of year Indian team will be no 11 or 12. Carry on BCCI destroy Cricket. It will be good be Indian.
