dont react to the msgs of setal as it seems she/he doing this to gain publicity here in board and he/she knows well that if he/she say about tend and gang thn people will react as these two have most support than dravid so pls ignore setal and discuss valuable things here dont waste time with setal which setal wants us to do.
it is a bad idea to place venkatesh prasad as a bowling coach. india has always been lacking in the bowling arena. and prasad is not much a great bowler who confuse himself with leg cutter,sloooow delivery etc. someone like Walsh,Wasim akram, alan donald needs to be appointed as a bowling coach.bcci is again making a mistake in not giving importance to bowling attack.none of the bowlers performed commendable during the world cup and before.they need to rethink this. robin singh as a feilding coach is a good idea.

There are born leaders, there are individuals who assume leadership in certain situations and crises and there are individuals on whom leadership is thrust due to seniority.
Imran is a born leader.
Saurav Ganguly assumed the mantle of leadership while Indian cricket was going thru a crisis after match-fixing and resounding defeats under Sachin Tendulkat.
Rahul Dravid became captain owing to his seniority, batting ability and his non controversial nature.
If Rahul Dravid knows that he does not enjoy the confidence of a group of cricketers within the team, he should either prevail upon the Selectors to drop them, whomsoever they may be and if the Selectors do not support or agree with him he should resign from the captaincy.
Somewhere down the line, Rahul Dravid the leader who declared the innings when Sachin was on 194 or the same Dravid who gave the ball to Murali Karthik ahead of Kumble and Hanbhajan (incidentally we won both the tests), that Dravid seems to have suppressed his individuality.
But he continues to captain for lack of an alternative.
The team that played in the WC would have been picked by most of us. We have real dearth of talent compared with Australia or even Sri Lanka. In fast,lively and seaming wickets even their second string teams could have beaten us. The problem is the hype that surrounds our "super stars". They are paper tigers overseas. It is our mistake. Other teams have a team rather than one man armies. It has taken a child (Bangla Desh) to point out that the "emperor" (you know who - pls do not come out with arms swinging wildly - has no clothes.
As the reality continues to irritate us, we either wail awayor take calm and corrective steps. Be the change as the father of the nation exhorted us. If we find the system rotten, let us change it. Yes, you and I. Let us get out of the comfort zones. If we cannot get up and dirty our hands, please accept the present administrators to do the job. Please stop the name calling. Yes, it is very hurtful, but India seems to have lost to a worthy team, Bangla Desh and of course Sri Lanka. The reality is they are deserving ones based on our present form. We have work to do. Let us not wail away. The world cup will end in couple of weeks but the hurt will continue provided we can act properly and move on.
The whole of Indian cricket fans telling sack Tendulkar...take all the old player and give them stick for walking...but what BCCI did ???..run by politicians...decision out come..no change in Indian team..even indian team score 10 runs for 10 wickets..sure BCCI will never change the team..BCCI proved indian fans are fools.Today I made a promise.I wont watch Indian cricket until so called Master Blaster retirement...GOD SAVE INDIAN TEAM..

who are u?. Whay not dravid or ganuli or all of our other player in oneday team?. Give me reson of ur personal comment because u had expectation on sachin not on drvid ... thats why u blameinh him. It is true he has to go , his day is come close to end > he will take his decission soon. if this true for sachin then drvid should kick out before 2003WC when he has no place in india oneday team... only ganguli love him so he gave a chance as he knew they are playing so many day jointly lets try for diffierent way.. it prove better in WC2003... but dravid should go first then sachin will go.. ganguli will go...
If we do not have any expectation form drvid ... then why he retain as capatain as only senior.. it was proved that if sachin, sourav , sweag in oneday , they able to control match by one hand... can drvid do that ... give me proff ... so why dravid is in team?

Dravid never blame his incapbilty of captainship, as he is cleaver, I respect tenduilkar as he told real truth when he faild in captain without blame other ... but drvid... he love post .. as he knew without captain he has no chance to get place in team in oneday.

west bengal needs another renaissance, otherwise we will be be stuck with sourav & dalmiya co. grow up buddy, we dont need a senor yuvraj yawning , hopeless tendulkar finding his form and a stucked up ganguly scoring peanuts against bermuda. harbhajan, zaheer and agarkar are bowling something which was never expected from them.

588 in 20, dnb 2 dravid (51.86) 683 in 20, dnb in 1 ganguly (63.63) 558 in 20, dnb in 1 sachin 495 in 20, dnb in 1 sehwag
as requested by you. you are quite opinionated in favour of ganguly. dravid does not have all that bad an average, as you want to portray. ganguly played well in the same period, but if you look at the year on year average. just before ganguly had a bad pacth he had an average of 17.42 in 2005, and 32.66 in 2004. while dravid had 35.35 in 2006, 47.48 in 2005, and 39.42 in 2004.
why squabble and bat for ganguly alone, and show dravid is bad ? why dont you acknowledge that if a player is bad let him be rested and be back in form and return to the team just like ganguly has done. why play partisan and play regionalism ?

Dravid's strike rate is 70 n Ganguly's is 73...lol being an opening Batsmen he is having juz 3 more than Dravid...lol....there were always 10 guyz to follow Ganguly when he comes to bat but for Dravid it was not the same...

you need to count that Ganguly is an opening batsman where as dravid is not...usually average of a middle order batsman is around 40.0

I agree that, but strike rate of midle order batsmen have to good at least in crucial phase, , like Yubi, Simonds, Hussey , oram,Boucher ....... as pitch is slow and good do not have swing less field restriction.
We have to understand my boy , we won beacuse of combination play of sachin, sewag , ganguli , yubi hard hit with dravid support
As a supporting player he is good one .. But crucial phase all other above player are better
These four player faild so we lost WC2007 ... any one have expectation dravid, that he by own credit india will win match like jaysuri ...
so if above four player will be drop why not dravid ..
Yet again it is proved that the bunch of fools are having confidence on another bunch of fools (players). It is disgusting to keep Dravid as captain. Height of crime in BCCI.

Sorry, Dravid will prove that he is the best if he is given a young team who would respect him and listen to him. It is because of other senior players that he could not prove his worth openly. Sachin, Sehwag, Harbhajan and Saurav and some others always thought that they are above the rest and the coach. Groupism will cease to exist. I don't agree with Sachin that all the players are united now. BCCI has taken the right step. People who think otherwise should stop watching cricket and get into their normal life.
india is realy missing a fast bowler like lee or tait who can beat th bat with sheer pace.but i dont think we have any one at the moment.but i saw a 2nd wasim akram for pakistan in the last u19 wc.

yeah - all of our quicker bowlers lose pace after a short run at the begining, its much to do with fitness, look at our players, hardly any one if fit for a long period of time.
What is a buddhha like Rahul Dravid doing in the team? Sachin and Saurav are 34 yrs, Dravid is 34 years too. So if Sachin and Saurav are kicked out, Dravid should also be kicked. Like Sachin and Saurav, even Dravid has been a non performer in the team off late.

no point blank firing is ever goingto do any good. sachin , ganguly and dravid have experience which shoul be passed onto younger players. firing them all en masse is stupidity. thier time is almost over though. rotate them, dont throw them out, just as yet.
