Tendulkar has millions of dim-witted sycophants in Mumbai.
by vikrama punchathar on Apr 05, 2007 01:51 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hi
I love that word which editer used.. and that 100% true ..

these so called dim-witted sycophants will ruin the Indian cricket..its look like with Dhalmia the BCCI was much better then these Mumbaites.

And about Tendulkar.. MY persanal advise is that please Go back & and Play some Domestic Cricket (which u have not played much) and Change your Reflex%u2019s or change u%u2019r style of plays which suits today%u2019s world %u2013 I mean which south Africa Australians paly now a days
Come as strongly as Cricket never seen Sachin as good as Earlier. I%u2019m sure that back of u%u2019r mind it will their with u that u have to answere to some crooks like Ian Chapel etc.. the whole India which spoke bad about u.

Good Luck Sachin
All the best

Cheers

Its disgrace that our cricket team could not live upto the expectations of the Indians. It aperas there is a lack of commitment or lw confidence level in tackling situations. We should draw lessons from Mr.Ponting,Mr.Heyden,Mr.Smith,And Jaya surya.

Once upon a time there used to be 6-7 players from Karnataka playing for India, including scraps like Somsundar, Vijay Bhardwaj etc... Now isn't this biased?

Yes very true. G.Viswanath as Chief Selector spoiled the team by allowing average players from karnataka to play for India.

Great job in giving that write up....true that the cash hungry players doing all sort of advertisements to fill their pockets, have ruined the game and brought shame to the country.See how those people are vacationing at various resorts across the country with no shame left behind....time for all viewers to stop watching cricket so that the sponsors will stops paying these good for nothing people with cash

Pathetic Article...I really wasted 10 mins... on such a crap. The author must be preserved in The National History Museum, where many species have got extinct because of their lower mental powers. The author is a perfect fit for the museum for his lowest intellect. He can safely start for London.

Oh ! So, you reall feel something dramatic is going to happen when the BCCI meets on 6th & 7th ? God save you. Probably you are an alien, who has not been living in India and knowing its conditions. Your plight is really pathetic ! Maybe, why don't you take a trip to London ? You seem to be more deserving !

Excellent analysis on Tendulkar's attitude and politics in BCCI.

The need of the hour is not good coach but good players. Drop Tenducker, Dravid, Sehwag, Dhoni, Agarkar, Harbajan and bring in talents from all over India.

I am already Grown up and in my senses. Its you who have missrabely failed. If at all you had lifted a bat and faced a ball coming at you with some real pace, you would not have said these words. It really takes some guts to stand to the likes of Shane Bond, Shoiab, Glenn, Wasim and others.
Its not the question of getting emotinal. And moreover, its not me who is getting emotional. Its the author and supporter like you who are getting emotional. Else what sense the article makes. Don't you think, it was right on Tenduklar's part to vent his anguish when he was just 6 runs shy of a dobule. Its not that you go and hit a double every day, right.
And what's the bloddy deal if he said he wants to open. Its his opinion. And moreover has the author got any real documents from GREG to have said all the crap he did. He is reacting to what has been published. So its time for you people to realise. Where is the ATTITUDE PROBLEM. How can you forget that despite losing his FATHER, he went back to ENGLAND to try to help INDIA in 1999. Was there any aatitude problem when depsite a worse back ache, he batted to see INDIA thru in CHENNAI against PAKISTAN, and the whole of INDIAN batting line up collapsed within some 16 runs..and INDIA lost. Think. Mr. You are talking about a Gr8. Check your words 10000 times before they come out of your mouth.

We all agree with you that Sachin was a great batsman. But not anymore. What the author has said abt Sachin is 100% correct.Sachin is still playing cricket because of money and endorsements and with commitment as he was playing a few years back. Now his body is in such a state that he find it difficult to lift his bat.Still he wants play. Why? Look at the way he got bowled against Sri Lanka and in S Africa. It's a shame that a supposedly great batsman getting out that way.Since Greg Chappell is questioning his commitment Sachin has ganged up with other seniors and revolting. In the bargain Dravid has to face the music for our seniors appaling behaviour. If only the so called seniors are dropped from the side only then Indian cricket will improve.Give a fresh bunch of hardworking youngsters to Dravid he will transform India's fortune.

Why are you comparing me with cricketers. I am not a cricketer, so why should I face bowlers like Shane bond. Doesn't make sense to me. Pls compare Tendulkar with Ricky Ponting, Haydon, Fleming, Styris, Jayasurya, Beven, etc who actually win matches for their respective country. No one wants records. We want India to win matches. It is as simple as that. With such a calibre, do you know what is our match winning percentage? (

Hi Srini.. If u know so much about Indian cricket..Tell me max. 3 or 4 names they are better then these guys Tenducker, Dravid, Sehwag, Dhoni, Agarkar, Harbajan..which they face Bret Lee, Shane Bond or Muralitharan..

So..Please u also dont get emotional..Agree that India doesnot have new telents as Vengsarkar said..

This is my simple piece of advice to you. Grow up man!!!

Australia scored 330 runs against Newzealand. and Newzealand scored more than that. South Africa defeated SriLanka recently. That answers your first question.

Who said we dont have talents. The selectors have to search and get new talents. That is their job.

oye bhadwekar,

sachin gave joy when his contributions mattered to the team......can't recall any such performance in recent past. selctions shud be based on the merit of performance & going by that simple & universal yardstick......sachin doesn't deserve a place in the team with his current form.

And don't u remeber the innings mentioned in the article...sachin was selfishness exemplified. He wanted to avoid octroi on the free ferrari...he was greed exemplified. And with the number of times he is getting his stumps broken....he's a lame duck personified !

Nobody races an unfit & old horse just coz it ran well in its prime.

Iam gr8 fans of tendulkar infact I have met hime once in his Le Mer residence
but this article has depicted hard truth
loose of indian team was
1) groupism among themselve
ganguly group - zaheer, yuvraj harbhanjan
tendulkar group - shreesant, agarkar, powar etc
so tendulkar has lost his reflexes now he should undstand it his body is not supporting
or if he wants to prove show his natural game opening inning way he use to play in his pink days

Author is spot on in his analysis and prediction. This is exactly what is going to happen. Sa(UCK)(hin) will be made captian for his selfish 17 years of personal record and moneymaking. Things will never change and selection team will never hv guts or authority to sack SUCKCHIN and other selfish seniors in our Indian team.
