BLAME IT ALL ON SACHIN'S IMMORAL AMBITIONS
by rajendra agrawal on Apr 05, 2007 03:14 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

FOR UNNATURAL EXTENSION OF HIS DEAD CAREER, HE WILL BE THE DOWNFALL OF MANY TALENTED YOUNGSTERS SO THAT NO ONE SHOULD REACH HIS STATISTICS.
THIS IS HIS ATTITIUDE.
NO COACH WOULD LIKE TO GET ASHAMED IN THIS MANNER, ONCE A GREAT LIKE CHAPPELL CAN BE TREATED LIKE THIS.
BEST IS TO REMOVE THE POST OF COACH ITSELF, AND MAKE SACHIN AS THE COACH-CUM-CAPTAIN-CUM-MANAGER.
HOW MANY YOUNGSTERS HAS SACHIN NURTURED, EVEN IN MUMBAI, LEAVE ALONE IN INDIA ?
THIS IS A QUESTION WHICH ALL INDIANS SHOULD ASK.

Why single out Tendulkar? There are 10 other players as well, all equally non-performing. Why is no one talking about them?

sachin gave joy when his contributions mattered to the team......can't recall any such performance in recent past. selctions shud be based on the merit of performance & going by that simple & universal yardstick......sachin doesn't deserve a place in the team with his current form.

And don't u remeber the innings mentioned in the article...sachin was selfishness exemplified. He wanted to avoid octroi on the free ferrari...he was greed exemplified. And with the number of times he is getting his stumps broken....he's a lame duck personified !

nobody turns into a promising youngster overnight.they need to be given chances&groomed well.Mr Hinge, don't you remember that even Tendulkar was out for a duck after being hit by a Wasim Akram bouncer on his debut against pakistan?

There are many, however unlike Tendulkar who got a
chance when he was in his teens. Young cricketers will nowadays have to appreciate Sachin to get a place in the team.

THEN LET HIM PLAY TILL HE DIES ON THE FIELD, LIKE A TRUE HYPOCRITE PATRIOT.
BECAUSE OF HIM ALONE, NO YOUNGSTER HAS BEN ABLE TO BE NURTURED FOR POSITION NO. 1 - 5 AS HE IS EVER READY TO BAT ALL THESE POSITIONS, DEPENDING ON HIS INJURY, FORM, CARRER GRAPH, EGO, ENEMITY, AND ALL OTHER SUCH GOD QUALITIES.

WHEN BCCI DOESN'T HAVE GUTS, NOR DO THE EX-CAPTAINS AND COACHES, CAN YOU EXPECT EVEN IN YOUR DREAMS THAT A BUDDING YOUNGSTER WOULD DARE SPEAK ANYTHING AGAINST THIS HYPOCRITE DEMIGOD?

He may criticize Tendulkar as much as he wants. No problem. What is objectionable his allegation against BCCI president and chief selector that that linguistic biase will play a part in deciding action against Tendulkar. He goes on to say that Pawar is a master at winning friends. I would like to ask Mr. Lavkare, if Pawar had got bogged down by regional biases, how did he manage to get friends?

Indian Cricket analysis by Arvind Lavakare
by Hemant Naik on Apr 05, 2007 03:06 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hi Friends,

Just wait and see this Arvind Lavakare will be a looser. I don't know who permitted him to write this. This man makes us hate each one and praise Chappell. If he is very much interested write in support of Greg and suggest to keep tendulkar out of the team. Why you blame him.

Well, according to me, keep tendulkar out of the team and let him play in ranji. As no one can keep him out of ranji. Bring young players as Arvind Lavakare and Greg are very much interested. Let them play. If they loose, then we need to hang these two people in open public. Is that Ok with Arvind Lavakare.

Hey u try to understand his points properly. He mainly critisised tendulkar's attitide-yes he is right in that point. Just see tendulkar's statement-"In my 18yrs career no coach has ever reported even in passing that my attitude was not correct" - how can it be possible, he is not god and just a human and cannot be so perfect in this long career, just think even if u work for corporate and just b'coz u work for 18 yrs and cannot expect yr boss not to question u when u commit mistakes and it will will happen b'coz we are just humans and it will be questioned. Iam not supporting chappel, but tendulkar statement before board meets is really stupid. Yr point on youngsters - Yes send young team to BD even if they loose, its fine atleast we can groom players for future and 2011 WC, if these so called senior cricketrs can play max 2 yrs (if they play gud no one will stop, but they failing consistantly)so if they play and keep loosing like this, we will not even have time to groom youngsters. So atleast as far as ODI, we shud give more preference to fresh legs. These guys(seniors) are for money and they want more more

Poor Understanding of Maharashtra Politics
by bharat on Apr 05, 2007 03:05 PM  Permalink

By saying that any action against Tendulkar will result in political losses to Pawar's NCP displays that Arvind Lavkare has a very poor understanding of politics in general and Maharashtra politics in particular, because:

1. There are no elections due in Maharashtra in the near future. Even if an action against Tendulkar were to trigger public anger, this would be short term and most unlikely to remain an issue until the next elections. So, action against Tendulkar will have no impact on Pawar's electoral prospects.

2. A large scale public protest because of action against Tendulkar is extremely unlikely. Given his poor performance in the world cup, people, in general, are disappointed with him. Further, although he may be a demigod or what ever, the crowds in Mumbai have not hesitated to boo him as in the test match against Pakistan. The Mumbai public are not likely to make it a prestige issue, if Tendulkar is dropped, as may happen in some other parts of the country. Besides this, Pawar's NCP does not hold much clout in the urban areas (Mumbai/ Thane). Even if there are public protests, they have nothing much to lose. People in rural Maharashra will not find this issue of much appeal in any case.

hey "rightinyourface" you are 100% correct. i dont understand people support just b'coz of past record, ok we all repect that, so for that we cannot keep him in the team inspite of his consistent failure, this is sports and not bollywood, even today Amitab can act as hero, but sports men cannot. so guys try to understand the logic, i think people of yr kind sensless sympathy-our indian politics is like this, our politicians know our this kind of people mentality, hey be matured enough.
