Greedy & Shameless guys
by RAJ ANAND on Apr 05, 2007 09:55 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sachin, Dravid & Sehwag are the most greedy guys of Indian cricket. Sachin knows that he has not got the ability to play now but he is only playing for the money.
He says he has given Heart & Soul to Indian cricket but he has not mentioned how many million dollars he has accumulated in hin back account. Sometime back we were telling with pride that Sachin Tendulkar is the member of Indian cricket team but now it is matter of shame for us. Chappel is 100% correct whatever he has said about our senior cricketers.
See our team captain Mr. Rahul Dravid after coming back to India from west indies he is enjoying on the beach of Kovalam rather than practicing in the ground and improving his game. The shamless guys.

Money will decide

Sachin ,
We all know that u play for MONEY only and not for the Country, what Chappell said about all the players are right. by removing the coach nothing will change , All will continue making money for them selves.

We cannot play Cricket at ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.............

U r very correct man.
He started earning from the age of 16 and still going on.
I dont remember he plays in crucial matches when India was in critical stage. He played for the sake of making his own records. Its enough he should retire now.

Indian Cricket
by R Balasubramanian on Apr 05, 2007 09:52 AM  Permalink

There is no meaning or hurling abuses each other. Rather we should approach the matter systematically, which nobody has done so far. The basic issue is:
1) Chappel has been given a contract for 2 years. Has he done justice to his job as a coach?
2) Indian players, they have been given a task...WC. Have they done justice to themselves, to their nation and cricket fans all over world?
These should be analyzed and pinpoint the problem. Instead, no use in passing the buck.

chappell tendulkar releases
by ramprakash narasimhamurthi on Apr 05, 2007 09:52 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

stop this

it was for all to see that there were two power centres in team
one of chappell-s who looked at issues on professional basis, where a man who-s form is in doubt sits out, the man who does-nt train is shown the bench/door, and talented youngsters get their due and constant nurturing

second of men who want to form coteries, live on glories gone-by, sometimes recent or sometimes in days gone-by, and who dont even mind undermining the interest of the country/captain/coach for their temporary gains.

lets face it form on day/season only counts in the match/series. nothing else.
see the aussie bench, and the guys are MEN compared to our BOYS

if we had had a ian-chappell instead of greg it would have been better, for ian was known to be a toughie both in thought and deed, who shook aussie cricket on its head.

people like tendulkar/sehwag should look at lara or gilchrist and step down from team if it is warranted instead of taking umpteen chances and failing as seen glaringly in the replays of all their dismissals.
saurav was a different guy from his COMEBACK WONDER
but he should keep out of ANY POLITICS etc., and only play, although I blame him for zero-singles against bangla which cost us the match. 1-day cricket is abt moving on not PLAYING FOR A DRAW IN A ONE DAY MATHCH, like what once gavaskar did in england

let professionalism prevail
oh to have somebody like bob to coach india
indian coaches will have pressures put on them, in addition to pressures being put on the captain

dravid did the greatest mistake backing sehwag
1 or 2 seasons of tempering outside will help put grit above all.

cant u see
dravid is good for test captaincy
yuvraj is best for 1-dayers

let wisdom prevail

also have bowling coaches as well as fielding coaches, and for india have one coach for even running between wickets to convert ones to twos etc.,

Time to wake up BCCI
by vipul arora on Apr 05, 2007 09:50 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I would like to say that our players should get good enviroment not only good coach but good pitches also. Why are we hero at home and zero overseas. Answer is in home we have batting pitches favouring our players why do big guns fail on bouncy pitches we shuld provide them hear only. That's why other teams are able to beat India in India also. Well leaving all that we should go for indian coaches aren't they good. Sandeep patil took kenya to semi finals in 2003 world cup. bring him.or someone else no foreign coaches. rather then blaming our players.I am with sachin he did it rite. Why shuld we feel insulted. Mr Pawar sachin is not like you. U got insulted by australians and u were behaving like a duck. Most to that people of our country are worst once they lift a player to a god's height and once he fails we burn their dumies we dont think what will they feel their families feel..

With the BCCI being more concerned about money than the game, will PEPSI allow BCCI to throw out its boys from the team
