Why Sachin should not come to media??What about Greg!!!
by on Apr 05, 2007 10:22 AM  Permalink

Mr. Niranjan Shah just mentioned as this is not expected from Sachin. but why?

Why dint he controlled Mr.Coach. He has been giving 100s of obsessing statements about the players. Sachin just expressed his feelings that he felt hurt!!!

Whats wrong in that mr.Shah

Greg's utterances
by Antony Terrance on Apr 05, 2007 10:22 AM  Permalink

Coach Greg has no right to call senior players as mafia. This one statement is enough to provoke any one.
Secondly this is the first time time in 17 years of his cricket, Sachin has openly protested.
It is humanly natural response from Sachin.

Niranjan, try to be sensible
by Kausik Nath on Apr 05, 2007 10:21 AM  Permalink

It seems you will never learn, neither from a failure. If world cup failure is not important enough to learn from, and evaluate people, then where do you learn from? Ranji trophy? We, as Indians, have become a BUNCH OF JOKERS in front of the world, with our disastrous performance in the World Cup. Here, what you need to understand is, the Coach, Captain and the Team Manager are the most responsible for our performance. So, when you give importance to them, you should also hold them responsible for non preformance of the Team.

no one is talking abt the POWER man
by Madhvi Kothari on Apr 05, 2007 10:19 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

many are talking abt the failure of indian team in world cup and chaos being created. some are blaiming dravid, some to chappel and some to senior players. But surpirsingly no one is talking abt BCCI president Sharad Pawar.

The moment this POWER man entered in cricket, things started going reverse for indian cricket. He think cricket ground and cricket board is same as parliament and the circus which we see in paliament is happening in our team.

Now who will save us.

Probably God will also say "NOT IN MY CONTROL!"

think over

Why should you not air your views?????????
by Yehswanth Pai on Apr 05, 2007 10:17 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sachin is right in expressing his views. There is a limit to how much a player can hold back and swallow yet expected to perform. All this plays on the psyche of the performer and brings his performance down eventually. But BCCI wants to be the boss of everybody's feelings ala ICC and this cannot go on for long and also should not be allowed to carry on. BCCI should realise that all players are human and every player should have the individual freedom to express himself otherwise it will be another story of another Suppressive outfit enjoying public funds at the public cost.

All Cricket must stop
by isac tharian on Apr 05, 2007 10:15 AM  Permalink

I think this all cricket itself is not a game rather than a business. this waists the time of many students and others of India and not benefited to any body except those are in the match fixing, players and BCCI members and other commitees. once any player enter in the cricket team they become super star and act as if they are something or Media mekes it like that. therefore, I think all the Cricket must stop and deliver Indian Youth from this evil.

is it necessary ???
by Gopi nath on Apr 05, 2007 10:15 AM  Permalink

In poverty driven nations like India, Pak and Bangladesh, is it really necessary to focus this much on a game and waste our time and resources ??
Cricket is a game ...just play it and forget !!!
After all, it's not INDIA and it's not life ..
Equatting players to Messaiah if they won or humiliating the same players when they dont...is really foolishness..

complaint against coach
by george yacobu on Apr 05, 2007 10:13 AM  Permalink

We cannot view the complients of players. we have to ask the players whether the coach has prevented the players striking the ball during the mach? what prevented you from playing your own game?

We didn't expect this from Sachin
by Puneet Sahai on Apr 05, 2007 10:11 AM  Permalink

Dear All,
Sachin has done right with Mr. Chapple ,We just want to know from Mr.Shah that, are they bonded labour they are serving for the nation since many years. so they are suppose to say for the nation . but we think so BCCI is busy with cheap politics and it seems that BCCI has become a regional politic party . BCCI committee is fully resposibil for all, and all committee should take responsibility for that .

Sachin is a cheater!
by on Apr 05, 2007 10:11 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What a pity.. This fellow is cheating the whole of this nation... Where was he for all these time keeping silent about all these...? If the players were having any kind of discomfort under Chappel, they should have approached the BCCI with their grievences. Not after a pathetic show in the worldcup. It is very evident that these senior pros are counter attacking Chappel as he is straight forward and giving a strong report to BCCI which may eventually force them to loose their position in the team.

All this time he might have gone before the BCCI and expressed himself but nothing happened. He thought media should be informed. Hence he came before now. ALL THIS TIME HE WAS THERE WITH THE TEAM AND HE WILL BE WITH THE TEAM TILL END OF HIS LIFE.

Sachin has contributed immensly to BCCI cricket. No doubt on his ability to win us Crunch games when the team needs him the most. Look how many matches he has won for India in must win situation.
