What Sachin has done is Disgraceful,Now they will reward him with Captaincy.
Why couldn't he respond with his bat and then call for Chapell's resignation? The fact is that he has been a miserable failure for the past 2-3 years and he is trying to hide this by putting the blame of Chapell.
Sachin and his hordes of loony fans will start clapping when he scores against Bangladesh in some unimportant match in Dhaka.
If Sachin has any SHAME left in him, he should STEP down like Inzi did.
Sachin is now reday to shoot some more ADS and share his revenue with some INDIAN coach WHO will have no say in any matter.
These Seniors should be kicked out, they are so insecure that they try to keep talented juniors out. Hope Chapell writes a book on how these guys have systematically destroyed Indian cricket. Sure Chapell didn't do a great job , but the Seniors were worse and humilitaed all Indians in the WC.

FUll Marks !!!
If still these worst indian players want indian fans to still be remembered about their contributions in future ..
indian fans will surely do that ..
But only if they take responsibility of what they did show up in WC .
Just compare these shameless guys with Inzamam who sincerely stepped down & retired taking responsibility & how pakistan borad chief submitted his resignation !!

You are absolutely right. It's time to drop all the seniors, and start rebuilding for the next worldcup.

Please provide that damn list of "Talented Young Players" If you can't, then kep quiet and wait till "really" talented young ones emerge, which will certainly be good for Indian Cricket. I heard Kapil Dev say that half a Sachin ( totally agree that injuries have made him that) is still good enough. If you are referring to Uthappa as the "young" one, then go and check your stats as well. Also, what did Dhoni and Yuvraj, the young guns do?
The fact is all failed. Why could not the bowlers bowl out Bangladesh for less than 190? Every other team has done it. Of course to idiots that is also a fault of Sachin and Saurav and Veeru. In fact not bowling Sachin & Veeru in time and for many overs in Bangladesh game was fatal too. Sachin and Veeru were bowled for 8 overs together for 25 runs (3.125 per over), the other 'regular bowlers ( it is painful to call them bowlers) bowled 40.3 overs for 167 runs at 4.14 rpo. I guess Saci=hin and Veeru refused to bowl "underhand" and hence Mr Chappell told the "poor" under pressure from senior players Dravid, not to bowl them. The bigger problem is our captain listned or even came up with that idead himself. If anyone, it is the coach and captain who refrained India from winning. That match was very much winnable ever after scoring only 190 odd.
Please go and read about all those more than 10/15 matches that Sachin has won on his bowling alone. He somehow always performs with the ball whenever he fails with the bat. It is sorry state of affairs that someone like me knows this but the Captain and Coach do not.
Shame on you. You don't even know what is really wrong. It is the bowling and bowling and bowling. And everyone is out to blame the batsmen for their few failures. These are the same batsment who have carried India as late as in Jan and Feb of 2007 with their bats when nothing could be expected of the bowling.

Here is my talented list of youngsters..
1) Badrinath 2) Rohit Sharma 3) Piyush Chawla 4) Dineshkarthik 5) Amit Mishra 6) S Badrinath
and I am sure there are scores of others. Where did Sreesanth come form? Did you hear about him earlier? Unless you givem them enough opportunities to fial or do good, how you cna you claim that they don't exist??
Which decent team will score 190 vs Bangladesh?
When Ponting pads up the one word tp describe the stituation is "FEAR". When Sachin pads up the situation is "PRAY" .
We would rather lose with 18 year olds than the loonies like Sachin and gang who are only good in Ads. Did you watch Tamim Iqbal bat? He is 18 years old ?
Through most of India's recent ODI travails, it's the less-heralded bowlers who have done well - only twice during this period have they conceded more than 300, while the average runs per over conceded is only 4.93. Twenty times they've restricted the opposition to less than five per over, but India have only managed to win 50% of those games.
The batsmen have always been the ones who've been feted after most of India's ODI triumphs. It's time they took the bulk of the blame for the losses too.
Tendulkar's overall stats look impressive, but check out his recent performances against the two best sides - apart from the 55 against South Africa at Centurion, he hasn't managed a single half-century in 11 innings.
Chappels decision is good for all incluidng Chappel. Hope Chappels wishes are honoured by the Board. This is step no 1 in the right direction. Lets see what comes next. Tell me India why should any of the three Rahul Sachin or Saurav retire? Tell me India which newcomer you can rely upon? Utthuppa, Kartick, Raina or who better than these three? Unless you find suitable new players you cannot simply ask the old guards to take rest. I feel the coach and the captain failed to perform the role they were supposed to. Coach must keep watch over the old tested players. If someone is failing it is not always prudent to remove him. You analyse as a coach the reasons of such failures. Give him confidence. Dont make him shaky. Tell him to change his batting stance, tell himto change the weight of the bat. With age people lose a few things but gain many, like experience and confidence. This you will have to honour as a coach. It is very easy to simply pass on the buck to senior players or players. It is more difficult to extract the best ouf your limited resources. It requires prudence and patience. Chappel lacked both of it. Dravid was equally hopeless. He did not make up the lapses and lacuna of the coach. As a batsman Dravid Sachin and Saurav has still left a good amount of cricket in them but may never be upto the next cup.

Why should Sachin Retire??
His scores in the last 2 years , forget last 4 ODIs in SA total 23 runs, world cup 7,0 vs Bangladesh.
You and all you lunatic fans live on past glory.
Why should he retire? because we want guys like Rohit Sharma, Manoj Tiwari ,Badrinath etc given a chance. If we have to lose we should lose with them so that they gain enogh experience in 2-3 years time.
Playing with this bunch of Advertisement freaks like Sachin is pathetic, fielding is pathetic, running bet wickets is pathetic, body language is pathetic.
If they ahd any shame after losing to Bangla in a WC match, they should RETIRE.
They have ganged up against CHAPELL to hide thei own INSECURITIES

Wehn Sachin and Saurav and Veeru came on they were not "GIVEN" chances. They had to be selected becasue their talented performances. Do not go around like a beggar asking for chances for new ones. If they are good enough they won't need to be given chances.

We Indians are giving too much importance to the game of cricket.Other sports are suffering due to lack of funds/Funds being blocked in cricket.Hockey is our national game, wat position is India in Hockey? We have won the cricket world cup just once in 1983, but Anand has been the world champion in Chess more than once. Why is it that only cricket hits the headlines in newspapers and web sites? Its time we start to realize that cricket is not the only sport and other games that require equal importance.Pls note that India with a population of >100 crores is not number 1 in any of the games/sports other than Chess. Its time for us and the sponsors to rethink the priorities...

indians should concentrate only on kabbadi rather then cricket.in kabbadi we can be world beaters.cricket and cricketers like saurav,sachin,sehwag,harbhajan....sucks,it is highly frustratiing.
Not playing Sreesanth in three matches despite failure of Ajit Agarkar clearly shows nexus of senior players. Chappel is very true though he has failed miserably . He had knowledge of all this , he should have put his resignation three months before World Cup since this thing is going on for past 6 months
Its funny how Niranjan Shah reacts to Sachin's outburst. He laments that Sachin should have gone to BCCI. For what? So that they would shut him down hush hush without the paying public gettig to know a dot? I say, well done Sachin. Why is Shah against Players speaking in public forums? Free speech is the birth right in this country and does BCCI expect people to give up on that in the nam eof discipline? Discipline is to make things in order. When something goes wrong and you know about it, keeping mute is not discipline. Instead, I totally support Sachin's move. Now, I have a piece of advice for BCCI. If they expect their players to act like insensitive lumps, they better hire robots. Wouldn't be too bad. Just don't include a sound card and your players will never talk.

Sachin acts as a cry baby. Trying to gain undeserving sympathy with his cry. Imran is right when he says that he cannot compared to the greats when he did not deliver anything to India during the times of difficulty. He should have allowed his bat to talk instead of his mouth. What a poor looser Sachin is. "Free speech is the birth right in this country" - which country you idiot. Everybody listen to this advice from Ramendranath Saha which might be useful for you as well: "If they expect their players to act like insensitive lumps, they better hire robots". If BCCI indeed hires robots, alteast there would be higher level of consistency with no multi-crore payments. These loosers led by Sachin are not enough to take on the good teams. Atleast robots might able to do so.

We all want Micheal Beven from austrelia who don't have all these bullshit records like what u r having , but played in crutial matches to win for Austrelia when ever he batted that too under immense pressure after loosing many wickets.
THAT's called a real Caliber , Real experianced cricketer & real hero of nation .
BUT LOOK How even for Him AUstrelia has Kicked out of the team , because Austrelia knows that it used 99% of him what ever can he best perform then throwed out. its the Nation's interest which is given first importance than the importance of useless & shameless players like you in india .
Now you think that U R ANYWHERE NEAR TO MICHAL BEVEN ???? We want ONE player like Michal Beven instead of 100 sachin Ten'kars like u..

Stop Sachin Bashing. He may not be the 'God' he used to be. But still he is better than most other players. Yes, he failed in WC. But tell me how many really succeeded? Some of the even few Indian 'successes' in WC are not without controversy. I am not saying Sachin's open criticism of coach is right. But I can understand how difficult it is to be 'Sachin Tendulkar'. Michel Beaven's contribution is great. No one can take away any credit from him. But please remember that he did not have the huge burden of being 'God' for many millions of people. So Sachin being only human, has not fitted the role of 'God'. People should take him down from that pedestal and look upon him as any other normal player. He definitely has many years of cricket in him. Don't do a disservice to the country hastily. Change/Young age alone cannot ensure success - there should be talent. We have to find ways to bring out these talents - If they prove superior to Sachin or whoever, then place must be given to talent. It is sad that Sachin bashing has become a fashion just like his worship was a few years back (Both are uncalled for!). Treat Sachin like human and you will see him shining.
