I dont know whether things discussed in this interview were right or wrong. But 1 thing for sure -- This man is really a "heavy weight" as quoted in the begining of the article.

I agree to the extent that Rahul Dravid should be more outspoken about the shortcomings in his teammates and talk about it openly atleast sometimes.By covering their faults all the while, he ends up getting blamed for the faulty attitudes of senior players like Tendulkars, Ganguly as well as players like Zaheer Khan and Sehwag who never know how to learn from their mistakes. As a captain, it is his responsibility to weed out the trouble makers, or speak openly in selection committee meetings, so that others in selection committee get to know of his concerns. As of now, it appears that he has been covering the deficiency of all the players, and trying to extend their shelf life, even though they all are date expired material.

You would never find me writing during office hours. Essays are not alowed in rediff? Who told you? Whatever I write is posted immediately unless some of you report abuse.

He'll be the best as he seems to know the wind-speed, size of the cracks on strip (each one of them), and every dot on 'i' and cross of 't' when it comes to cricket.
He'll be the perfect coach as he can sit in New York and coach player over web. No personal involvement - so no pressure for players! Yey!!

..Oh and another thing - did I mention he hates BCCI? That will be like watching a telethon on Zee where two families try to settle with each other.. Man that would be fun. Prem Paniker for Indian Cricket Coach!!
You have officially entered the 'Cheap Money Monger Press' category. Good to see politicians giving recommendations on cricket. Next, we'll see Rahul Gandhi advising Sachin on cover drives. I guess with all that gaanja Rahul has in his head, he may as well be a coach..
Damn man. Narhari Amin should me made a coach. he sounds like a cricketing genius. He seems to have solutions for all. The amount of money involved in Cricket would suggest every stray dog in politics will now get into this business.
What has happened to us ?? Gosh !! Why him ? Sorry to say, but heard of him for the first time. Why do we need to listen or put their opinion... no don't tell me to put my opinion, I am sure I am not at that position, but is he... When will we get rid of POLITICIANS in INDIA... what has happened to us
btw, World Cup is won by a team. Not by an Individual player. Dont blamde sachin for it.. If the team sucks, What can he do.... He has also been affected by co-cricketer's shitty attitudes... Poor sachin...
