Truly speaking Ganguly has most of the qualities a Captain should have. He is courageous, bold, stubron and harsh sometimes, has alsorts of tactics but should be used in right way for the country. but Dravid is a timid, fearful, weakhearted and has no tactics and statergies against opposite team. Leaders are born but not made.

Dravid is 34. So is Tendulkar. Ganguly is 35. Why not make a youngster the captain, like they made Smith for SA?

Ravi, you have a good sense of humor. We really laughed at your comment.
Dravid is not tough enough to be in that position. A captain should be able to make few strong decsions, stuborn sometimes, harsh sometimes and aggressive always, which are lacking in him

Right, but not another oldie with already a foot in the grave. My vote is for a youngster.

In the last World Cup (2003), against Sri Lanka, Bangla Desh was 0/4 in the first over with Vaas getting all the 4 including a hat-trick.
This was one of the headline yesterday on NDTV where some rumour came of Chappel quoting the senior players as MAFIA which are not supporting Dravid as captain and insult and discourage the juniors. Dont'know whether it is true but the senior players are assumed to be Ganguly, Sachin, Sehwag, Zaheer, Agarkar and Bhajji.

Pls check the follwing url at Hindu, a Chennai national daily...........http://www.hindu.com/2007/04/03/stories/2007040304702000.htm
and it will prove that circuit is just trying to spread rumours....

I think either this smskal yug himself has not read this article or he has not understood it. Mr Kalyug, Read the artical once again, it clearly points at the same thing which i have mentioned, Moreover it also speeks about the lack of communication among the player and the coach himself.

No NO Circuit is right, I have also the watch this on NDTV. But why Greg using Media? If he is honest why he submitted to BCCI? If anybody tell anything then will we take it seriously? Who is taking responsibilty for WC,Chamminpoins troph,South africa,WEst Indies tour?
