First of all, remove president of BCCI Mr, Pawar and his team. Mr. pawar is not at all the face of Indian Cricket, his knowledge to the Game is zero, nor he has performed in the game at club or domestic or national or International level, how a person knowing nothing about the work can preside over? He should not occupy this post. Let someone who has an experience of 100 plus test only should be allowed to contest for the BCCI Chief Post and retated posts, even the administration Manager of the team must also be an ex cricketer
Mr. Shah you have not done anything for your own Saurashtra Cricket Association for which you are serving for so many years. Please dont try to run BCCI as an Accounting firm and do not advice and comment on Indian Cricket. We dont want any comments and advice from an idiot and weak minded person like you....
GOD SAVE INDIAN CRICKET FROM OLD MONEKY LIKE YOU......

niranjan shah, raj singh dungarpur all are the worst thing happened to indian cricket.. i dont know what more they want....probably these joker will turn our cricket to indian hockey...somebody should sack dravids captaincy?
Today after the world cup debacle, the team is being blamed. Rightly so. But why is there no questions raised against the people running the BCCI ? These are the real culprits for the downfall of cricket in our country today. It may be noted that today most of the BCCI members are politicians. President Sharad Pawar and the Vice Precident Dayanand Narvekar. How much cricket do they know ? And what are they doing there ? BTW is the BCCI not an office of Profit ? The vice president is being openly talking against the team, which I also beleive is against the BCCI code of conduct. It suggests that the senior players ask their conciousness and retire. Very funny. I pose the same question to Mr. Narvekar. Why don't they ask their conciousness first. We have people who cannot walk and talk on top posts. Would they like to retire from politics ? Would the Australian player dare pushed Dalmiya. Guys these are the serious questions that need to be answered first. Let BCCI be a proper corporate body and it will perform. But unfortunately, this looks like far from happening. Until then wait and watch till India wins again :)

I strongly feel this is the right (high) time for:-
#1 Take over all the Sports including BCCI & hand it over to a Private Partner(s) to develop more (more Results, money would come on it's own!).
#2 Mandatory participation is needed right from the School level.
#3 Benefits of the Sports should be taught to the people (importantly, parents) by media. Good performance in sports does help the nation's image & pride!
#4 Minimum financial guarantees should be provided for the retired players (many sports persons suffer due to this!)
I totally agree with Niranjan and respect his views. Dravid as a captain is the best, and as a player is the very best. If at all there is a need to reshuffle the team then sack Tendulkar and throw out Ganguly, let him not make any more comebacks.

Dravid is the worst captain India has ever seen. He is good player but never a good team mate . He should be thrown out from the team along with Sachin. Ganguly should be once again appointed as Captain. In this circumstances only Ganguly can motivate the team and bring back to wining track. Most probably Ganguly is not in his bets form at this stage but his leading from thr front skill will motivate the entire team. He always play for the country and not selfish politician like Dravid.

Why don't they hire Ganguly as the Team morale booster or something. One batsman spot will be filled by a better batsman

Niranjan Shah is very big JOKER.
Dravid is the worst captain the world had ever seen.
Most of the gentleman who were captain for the team lost in major events like WORLD cup, took the responsibility and resigned. They said, they could not lead the team in right ways. Examples are Martin Crow, Shawn Pollock, Joysuriya, Attapatu, etc.
If Dravid is a gentleman he should resign from captaincy, otherwise it means he a very CHEAP person.
He made lot of IDIOTIC mistakes resulted worst result in world cup history for INDIA.
Out of many captains in India, I adore Ganguly for his agression. His daring and roar. But not people will remember, India lost 21 out of 23 finals under Ganguly captainship.. India only won natwest and a draw with sri lanka in chapions trophy in 2002. But ganguly was very good in brining India in finals in almost all the big tournaments.. Like we lost of new zealand in mini world cup in kenya in 2002. A draw finals in 2002 in champions trophy... 2003 woirld cup loss in 2003. But dravid team always lost in first round.... But Ganguly was Indias most successful test captain with 22 record wins and he started winning abroad test matches. Compare to both... Azhar was mosr successful one day captain. He won more one day trpphies than anyone.. Sharjah 4 or five times.. then hereo cup. then independance trphy in sri lanka and many more...

i beg to differ.azhar is one of the most uninspiring captains we ever had.he must have won u more cups at home but the quality of cricket left much to be desired . there were atleast a dozen times when we snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. that is where ganguly rules, he would never let it go if he could smell victory

we very well know the long knocks played by azhar during his tenure... there were instances when we snatched victory from the jaws of defeat..... look at the brighter side as well.

I agree with your views sameer, in my opinion Azhar was the best captain. His performance as a batsmen along with his electric fielding on the ground was an inspiration for the team.

And do not forget that Dravid stayed on till the end to win those matches. IF he had similar support from his batsmen things would have been different. Our batsmen need to learn from Dravid to take responsilbility and stay till the end.

What was Ganguly's own performance. Bullshit... Not only he is worst captain, he is worst player, and let not other players be demoralised with his politics
