INZE has guts which Dravid is missing. This poor chap Dravid is very arrogant and doesn't belong to real world. He was behind DADA's ouster and now has been punished for his misdid. I am sure DADA will get back his Captency and India will be in final in next WC. But for that just kick out good for nothing 10Dulkar! Long live DADA... You are messiah for Indian Cricket. We all love cricket and You too. Those who are acting/writing against you are jelous of Bengali and suffering from inferriority complex. God bless them and give them some good advise to accept BENGAL dominance in all accross fields. Bengal is Rising so India and what Bengal is thinking today India will be thinking tomorrow! God bless all NON BENGALIS!!!

bengal is indeed progressing remarkably along with other look alike neighbours....so as a gesture of good will india shud re-demarcate its boudries..n gift whole bengal to bangladesh. May then these bengalis form there own world beater cricket team
Who is this Niranjan Shah and how many tests he has played ?????
I remember a fantastic comment once made by Kapil Dev, on TV - ''...who is this Dungarpur? how many tests he has played...'' when he was asked to comment on some remark made by Raj Sing Dungarpur.
Similar was the viewpoint of Milkha Singh on these Board memebers and their ilk. Be it Sharad Pawar or Kalmadi or Dashmunshi ...all these guys move around different sporting activities without having ever played the game at international level. When any sports activity is surrounded by too many managers rather than players - that sports can only produce managers not genuine players. So Indian sports is fullof great managers who somehow manage to sqeez themselves into the national squad.
India and Pakistan are the only countries that had more managers in an Olympic contingent, than players. In one of the Winter Olympics Siva Kesavan was the only contestant from India, and the offcial records showed travel arrangements for more than six people.
Our system should get rid of these sports parasites and get some genuine ex-players to man responsible positions in Indian sports, with the notable exception of ex players like Gavasker - who did gross injustice to his career records by engaging into petty politics.

No Mr Rajan, you are wrong here! How can you call Ganguly non-patriotic?He too played very much for his country-Bangladesh!
............he managed to lose the Champions trophy and the WC2007, all in the F I R S T R O U N D itself.thats a new low in annals of cricketing leadership or lack of it.
If he remains, India will lose again, just wait and watch!
Looks like the BCCI is still leaving in fool's paradise, as long as forming a good cricket team is concerned. No talk about the change, how the game is played these days. No talk about any vision for the future teams! Strange, how such people can occupy important positions!
Shah is talking about a talent pool of 25 players, only. 25 players out of a Billion!!!
BCCI can afford to have 25 teams of 25 players each. Not regional teams, but teams comprising of good strong cricketers from across the country. The regional model has failed, and is full of biased fellows. Players of all ages 14 to 30 shall form these 25 teams. There should be minimum standards set for endurance, flexibility, reflex, physical and mental strength and toughness, to qualify for these teams. Players who fail to keep the minimum fitness levels should be sacked, right away. There should be %u2018Zero Tolerance%u2019 in the matter of fitness. Diet is of prime importance, as we Indians normally do not eat healthy food.
BCCI should identify and train the players of different age groups that will compete for a spot in the next 3 or 4 world cups. They should come out with some sort of vision or plan for the next 10-15 years.
People who come and go after making quick bucks in BCCI are no good for the national team.
The way ganguly was strugling to get any kind of start in all the matches said it all. hes too old to play. in 2003 he was tonking the lankans for straight sixes. in this world cup he couldnt even play bangladesk bowlers. the time has come for indians to rise about regional politics and find younger players. ODI is all about speed, fast singles etc ... not white hair and personal agendas. damn the bengalis for their biased support.

Yes Saurav should go to become the Captain. Dravid should relinnquish captaincy for failing in Champions trophy(without Ganguly), and failing in the WC2007 (inspite of Ganguly playing out a painstaking 66 when the bowl was wobbling till the 40th over thanks to Dravid CHOOSING to B A T!).Ofcourse Dravid took 28 balls to score 14 with 2 lucky edges, one for 4 another for a single down 3rdman, pls see the video).
Gaurav Misra has a right to express his mind, but it should not be at the cost of logic!

India also won 17 straight matches without ganguly! If you take note of ganguly's career he you'll find he would've created another record-the player who got most lives in international cricket-that too for balls going off-side !!!
