I dont think such a trip can be possible. ICC does have control over setting iternary and they wont allow revenues to just pour into some other series. Besides can you please tell me ,what was wrong with the schedule/format?
U say Dravid and Sachin are good batsman. What is use of there record and what is use of Dravid captaincy if he can not lead team to super 8. Just kick them away do there insult in front of media. Sachin and Dravid should ban to play cricket for next 10 years. Kick them off and ask for there VRS.
Well... I don't agree with Shah. India would have been in the spr 8s now, if Dravid had opted for fielding during Bangl match.
All the following CRY OUT field first!!!
1. He himself said Ind has not played Bangl for a while and dont know much abt them.
2. Virgin pitch - no match has been played on it.
3. First match of the WORLD cup! - fielding is less stressful than batting - there are 10 ppl around not just 1. Moreover bowling has lot of leeway for errors - batting errors are almost always fatal.
he just under rated bangl and paid the price.
But I think the ouster itself is good for the future of ind cric.
Niranjan shah needs his head examined. First get rid of an idiot like him. Now about Dravid: Any captain who tinkers with a no:3 position in a major tournament is a fool. It proved very costly for india that they did not have their best man at No:3 who is dravid himself, but shewag for 2 matches after he failed as a opener & robin for one. If Mr.Niranjan shah thinks it is astute, just shift the guy from rajkot to jamnagar which a fine mental aysulam.
INZE has guts which Dravid is missing. This poor chap Dravid is very arrogant and doesn't belong to real world. He was behind DADA's ouster and now has been punished for his misdid. I am sure DADA will get back his Captency and India will be in final in next WC. But for that just kick out good for nothing 10Dulkar! Long live DADA... You are messiah for Indian Cricket. We all love cricket and You too. Those who are acting/writing against you are jelous of Bengali and suffering from inferriority complex. God bless them and give them some good advise to accept BENGAL dominance in all accross fields. Bengal is Rising so India and what Bengal is thinking today India will be thinking tomorrow! God bless all NON BENGALIS!!!

Bengalis can love only bengal,not india agreed.As far as your dada taking on captaincy,that foolish,idiotic fell can become the captain for sure-but for the Veterans or ..oh no eves world cup!:(
this is not his home, where he can declare what he likes.
Indian population wants to see results. Since Dravid became captain we have seen --
- Politics ( remove ganguli and become captain)
- Missing to lead from front ( just scoring run is not sufficient , you have to be able to motivate , strategize etc.)
- Failures - Biggest proof , non -performance of entire team.
Besides Chappell , Dravid should also step down and we form 4 teams (all zone or may be different color ). This will atleast give Indian people to look into results between the teams and then only performing gets selected. All these 4 teams should have equal opportunity to play with foreign countries /minnows, and prove, before they can be selected.
Selection should not be by choice or face or region but by performance.

I am also not a lesser Bengali in anyway from you, but disapprove of what you say. I hail from S Cacutta, near Sourav's place. But I don't jump up-down supporting him and the Bengalis and belittling others. Please come out of the shell you are living, you need an attitude overhaul. I really feel ashamed of what you've said, ar bangali-bangali korey kotodin chellaben? People like you let down their own community people. Please do something constructive to restore the unity of this country, instead of breaking the spirit of the country into pieces. Stay away from such regionally biased comments.

And some folks want DADA to be captain for ever. no, well , may be until he is 99 years old. LOL! DADA was good once upon a time , but please get out of the hang-over. He nolonger performed and that's why he was ousted. We need youngters that can be better leaders than anyone else. It does not matter which state or region the person is from. Look at Mahela Jayawardane.
