Rahul Dravid is a very good batsmen and a good cricketing brain. Shame, that is not enough for the modern game that is as competitive as it is. Somebody has to take responsibility for this debacle. First changes should take place from the xxxkar(s). That is where the whole flaw of Indian cricket lies. Then we need to put in place a selection committe which should also have performance based contract with an expiry date. The performance based contract should have a very clear clause that any individual records that did not help the team will not be taken into account.

Dravid had been given a team of nulls by pawar, Shah, BCCI with poltics. The selection committee only interested to pocket money out of cricket. The revamp should be on BCCI, selection procedure, performance based payment rather seniority and record based, Keep sports out of politics by independant commission disqualifying any active politicians. Introduce selection committee by ex-cricketers with cricket knowledge. Lets start from basics and build team for next WC without Chappel, Dravid, Tendulkar, Ganguli, More, Shah, Pawar, Agarkar. Sandeep patil could be good choice to build next WC team and lets start early rather experimenting till last game before WC.

Team of nulls !!! who told u that this team is of nulls only, I really feel pity for Dravid being just pissed off in between these beggers of Indian cricket, listen to Chappel (otherwise he will send sms to some reporter), listen to sachin- ganguly (otherwise they will not be the happy man on the field), listen to these beggers in BCCI board(otherwise they will make u responsible for each and every defeat). Removing the seniors from the team is just like going back to from where we started in 2000 after the match fixing scandal again. Remove this Niranjan Shah, Dungarpur, Sharad power and Co. and yeah also that egoistic Chappel, and give Dravid the free hand in everything......... u will see the change immediately

Yes it is very clear that ganguly wanted to take revenge on dravid and chappell and he was successful also with the help of harbhajan, yuvraj etc., i think its all politics within the team which let us down.
This captain could not lead his team to victory over Banngladesh and Sri Lanka. He failed to extract match winning performance from his senior batsman and bowlers. When did his astuteness leave him during the most important matches
