by Balu Juturi on Apr 02, 2007 07:44 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hi this is Dravid
Looks like I%u2019m putrid
Played a match with a minnow
Could not match them with my willow

Am a captain
But could not raise a curtain
Love my chum Sehwag
Who is a better off as an actor in Bhagam bhag

I am called Dravid the wall
Greg I thought was f*** all
Media thought I hate Ganguly
When he made a come back I threw a googly

I preferred Viru to Sreesanth
I told him to be Prashanth
I even told that to Kumble
Who did nothing with the ball or the balle

I am now chilling off in Kerala
Bcos I couldn%u2019t stay in Jamaica
Feel sorry for Inzy
Cos his team is in tizzy

Hope to do well in my career
And prove that I am a good actor
Acting ho ya cricket
I am on the same wicket.

He might have promised his family....

Dravid might have promised his family that he would take them to Kovalam after coming back from the Carribean. So he might have gone to Kovalam. You see.. he is atleast keeping up the promises made to his family, if not for the nation.

Young Players!
by Reform India on Apr 02, 2007 07:25 PM  Permalink

Why cant we select 15 young players and ask chappell to train them. I think our senior super stars and cricket legends mess up Chappells plans. Chappell wanted to convince everyone keeping the old legends creating a batting line up so that they can fit in some how. That why we failed.

India Team - Boon or Bane
by on Apr 02, 2007 07:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hi All,

The issue for indian cricket is that we make people look like superheros and drop them like hotcakes the very next day.
Indian media is the most irresponsible of the lot. No other country apart from pakisthan pulls their team down in public and try's to flare up people emotions. Classic example is france in football WC. No newspaper or Television in france spoke anything bad or ridiculed their defeat. Look at how bad our team was projected when they lost last year finals.

Secondly, it is we, the indian public. We have serious issues like reservations, kashmiri hindu's getting killed and chased out of their houses, 40,000 of them. NONE of us ever speaks or throws any stone on that - neither any media wants to write or report on it.

Third point, why are anyone or ex cricketers so bothered of our players salary or how many ads they are doing....

Please note none of these guys have come up easily into indian team. they are the best of what we have, u like it or not.

No coporate is bothered by any players, tomorrow if we have another star in hockey or tennis, they will move on.( Still feel that sania mirza is the worst tennis player for the money she has earned - 15 crores, and we dont speak abt it )

So, give it a break and take this game ....

Hello dear, first of all first we look at the fact that media and we people them star and suddenly pull them down if they do not perform.

Mr. Sharma, Read his message carefully. He didn't write about being a Brahmin or not. He only said no one care to write about the issues like killing of Kashmiri Hindus etc.
