Please Dont Loose This One
by Bipin Menon on Apr 02, 2007 04:15 PM  Permalink

Now what the picture hints at is left to everyone's imagination after THE PERFORMANCE.
In India, where people eat, drink, sleep and talk cricket, no one seems to be bothered about this captain, OH CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN, please dont loose this one......

No one will want to be cricketer now
by Teri Jaat Ka Paida Maroon on Apr 02, 2007 04:15 PM  Permalink

I think young generation is seeing all this drama. They will be most discouraged to take up cricket seeing all the insults, humiliations, pressure of whole country etc that cricketers have to go through. I think this is bad as everyone will take easy way out to become a software coolie like the majority of us. HE HE HE.

Is it? I wonder.

Wasnt losing at the world cup and making a quick exit from a premium tournament, an insult to our cricket-mad nation?

Isnt this an utter disrespect to those who won the 1983 edition of this tournament?

Rediff is doing a wonderful job by showing exactly how these characters, such as Mr. Dravid himself, relaxes after a "hard" day's work! What a patriot!

Home cricket Statergies
by Amit Thapliyal on Apr 02, 2007 04:09 PM  Permalink

a new player should first play in test matches,So that he could become matchure and learn.
Start from test matches, because In test matches there no very less pressure then one day.there is sufficient time for a player to build himself and make and test his technique

Give my money back
by rahul oberoi on Apr 02, 2007 04:08 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

These players are simply non performers ..
Advertisers and board put so much money on them .
But they have not played to their potential.
In the private sector j if people don't perform they perish.
And if these players are getting huge amount of money they should be liable and accountable to pay the price.
Not only players but the selectors and even the BCCI also afterall they are the richest board in the world.
And they manage the team.
everyone has to take the responsibility like a deafeat at war.
These people should feel shame and guilt and they don't have the right to enjoy.
