You are inflaming passions
by Mahesh Jagga on Apr 02, 2007 04:26 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear Rediff editors,

Covering the news (??) of indian cricketers is one thing but acting responsibly is another.

By showing such photographs, you are unnecessary adding fuel to fire. Please desist from covering such non events till world cup is over.

Ignore Cricket!!
by on Apr 02, 2007 04:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Fellow Indians, after the shameful debacle at the World Cup, every patriot Indian should boycott all the products endorsed by these so called superstars. This will serve them right.
Imagine this scenario:
A "great" Indian player gets out for a duck and suddenly in the break, you get an AD that shows
biscuits being promoted by the same player!!

Now another great player is advertising a "Towel" in Kerala!!!

Winners/Losers ... their personal life is their own
by honestindian on Apr 02, 2007 04:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Their performance was pathetic. If we think they are answerable to us, then we'll punish them by ignoring them.

snooping around into their personal life is stuff mags like SUN are made of. Rediff is known for good India Content. I'm afraid, the trend doesn't show that it's in the right direction.

Leave their privacy alone. You are not only disturbing the player but the family as well. It simply is not professional. Get your act together Rediff!!
