Rediff need not resort to this kind of journalism to gain eyeballs ! Leave these guys alone - they too have a life, a family and deserve to have their moments to themselves. Agreed that we are unhappy with Team India performance but dont forget that they have been through this and are no less likely to be more unhappy and shattered than us.
Also, using a line like 'cooling his heels in Kerala' is unbecoming of a esteemed site like rediff.

I agree. I think we can do without 'paparazzi' journalism. Whatever might have happened in the West Indies, you have to respect people's privacy.

Really, Media sux. What the hell I have to do with knwing Rahul is relaxing on beach or somebody has won this year's Filmfare award.
In fact, most journalists come from well off parents and convent school cultures. It is difficult for them to understand how life is tough in villages and small town. I dont see anybody from rural India, small towns, mufassils have made great careers. The industry, the media all exploit us and want to feed us these type of news to divert our attentions.
But After all it is a sport. The Game and the players are independent. If we start blaming cricketers instead of the BCCI who (i.e the BCCI)claims they are (BCCI are)demigods,it is very unfortunate. Dravid is a gentleman and he along with his team ,provided to him by BCCI has done max.job.
It is a BCCI TEAM and not to be refferred to as Indian Team.

They are being paid for winning the matches, not for loosing them. I think the Indian Team (especially 11 payers who were on field) are fully responsible for India%u2019s exit from world cup. If I don%u2019t do my job, doesn%u2019t show results at work and still ask for salary, my boss will kick me out. I understand that cricketer%u2019s job involve high visibility, pressure and expectations of the crowd because they represent the country, but this is already known to them and that%u2019s why they have been selected. But these guys do not bother about anything as they have multiple source of income.
