ganguly wasted more balls than the runs he scored. His poor fielding and poor running wkt and unwilling to take singles cost more runs to team
dhoni failed with bat
Zahirkahn was wktless in firest match and in he took 2 wkts against SL but he gave more extra runs b'cuz of erratic bowling.
Sewag selection was criticsed by board memebers and chief selector, was highest rungetter, and scored 100 and won mom.
IF some players are not readyt o commit to team but not support captain and team why don%u2019t blame the individual players?? If the other players are not ready to listen to the capt or the coach, what will the captain/coach do about it?
A captain is as good as his teammates if captain has be remved then all the players should be replaced by youngsters.
Team India lost WC capaing Bcuz of lack of team spirit All palyeras were responsible for it

If ganguly would not had stayed there, Team India could have been bundled out within 100, creating a new record againt Bangladesh.
The debacle was due to only and only bad captaincy by Mr Rahul Dravid

When we can't play out 50 overs, why do we blame someone like Ganguly for slow-scoring?

if all 14 members of indian team ousted, afterthat the indian flag remains up and up.
agar ye nahi rehai to kya hoaa, dunia to phir bhi chalti hai, so enko nikal bhar phekena chaiye.
I still confused why BCCI take pathan & sreesanth to Carribean. Atleast they should have allowed to play against Bermuda. If, BCC still not confident about their fitness, then why not giv chance to kaif & powar?? kaif is a brillient fielder & powar better than kumble. BCC pls use ur brains.

Kumble played in 1 and took 3. Harbajan played in 2 and took 0.
india ne to kuch kaam nahi kiya...par hum bhi to wohi kar rahe hain. chalo yaha bait kar india ki ninda karne se accha hum apne kaam par lag jate hain aur desh ki tarakki me haath badhate hain. have a good day
Admitting mistake on the media is not an answer for India's poor show. The followers of the game in India unanimously should join together to insist on the removal of the following players immediately.
1. Dhoni 2. Agarkar 3. Sachin
These are the players who should be held responsible for the defeat. If the fans who had watched our game against Bangladesh and Srilanka will surely appreciate what I say. A player having played more than 350 matches cannot read the ball, and is caught behind or bowled, is no more a good player. A player who enters the ground and return to the pavilion as if someone is going to occupy the toilet cannot be a good keeper. A player who does not know the difference between yorker and raising delivery cannot be a good bowler. Without hesitation, remove them, bring youngsters who have been waiting for quite some time. Senior players should pave way for youngsters so that Team is young and energetic. We need go getters and run getters and our players are no more getters but ghatters.
While India/Bangladesh playing, the star lefthand opener on the very first over stroke a ball and run for a single as if a single run is the winning run for the team and the game changed from there. He took a risky run and led veru to fell down and eat the sand & grass and he hit the bowler. Why we need such a risky run in the very first over ????????? The fact i guessed is that, he want to secure his place. He stroke many balls for no runs and then get a single and stay safely in the other end to hold his position. His way of playing clearly shows that. So i feel, the first over changed the game completely.

From your logic, 191 is a losing total, but 190 (after excluding Ganguly's single run) is a winning one. I recommend you for the next President of BCCI.

Hi Ravi, What i point is, not to take risky runs at the initial stage itself, as we've many overs to go. If we loose wickets from start itself, u can guess the situation after that.

Mr. Herald, Ur message is serious crap, the run was never impossible. firstly it was Sehwag's call not ganguly's, then only indian cricketers made it look so. In any australia or SA match u can see this type of runs a 100 times !!! Aur boddho ki tara Ganguly ko kiu badnaam karte ho bhai ??? run liya to bologe run leta hain, nahi liya to bologe nahi leta hain, run banayega to bologe short ball nahi khel sakta, run nahi banayega to bologe team ka bojh hai, Ek end se wicket protect karega to bologe slow khelta hain !!!! Akhir kare to kya kare bechara ?? uske pichhe haath dho ke kiu pareho yaar ???

Yes Mr.Pravin you r 100% correct. The perticular run and missing runout created pressure on the team against small team bangaladesh. No need to take such risky runs at starting that run nobody expected.
While India/Bangladesh playing, the star batsman Mr. Ganguly on the very first over stroke a ball and run for a single as if a single run is the winning run for the team and the game changed from there. He took a risky run and led Mr. Shewag to fell and eat the sand & grass and he hit the bowler. Why Mr. Ganguly need such a risky run in the very first over ????????? The fact i guessed is that, he want to secure his place. He stroke many balls for no runs and then get a single and stay safely in the other end to hold his position. His way of playing clearly shows that. So i feel, the first over changed the game completely.

Ha ha, you are blaming Ganguly for not protecting Sehwag. Now all Indian players need protection from angry fans. When we can't stay for 50 overs, there is no point in blaming anyone for 'wasting' balls.
It is funny to see the downloads of INDIAN CLOWNS. Better put mask of Bangladesh Players. Still u rediff people think we indians want to see those ugly faces??? Pls cancel those ads shown in rediff of Indian Players...

It seems advertisers are pestering (bribing) BCCI, not to drop players who appear in advertisements.
I was remembering an article posted right here in Rediff sometime back. It said : "Book your tickets for India - Pak match on April 15th. Ha Ha Ha.. Now both teams have got return tickets though Pakis had a tough time to get that :)-
