1) If any player starts playing international cricket, he/she should not sign or act in advertisements for minimum 5 years - Which helps to stop divertion and concentrate on their career.
2) Do not give a single chance for player if he is not fit enough to play. International cricket match is not for testing players. Test outside & send him to fight if he is fit enough. Those who can play properly will continue in team, if can't perform..just send them back to Ranji - The mistake what is happening at the moment is, if he is not playing he will be asked to sit as 12th player. Do not do that. That is why we lost in the group matches in world cup 2007.
For ex: you continued Kaif for many years, but he played only 2 matches best in his career. dinesh, utappa are early examples..Keep Kaif as an example to stop continuation of unfit players.
3) Bring only all rounders. Do not bring only batsman or only bowler. What is the use. 5 bowlers with batting(10 roles) 5 batsman(5 roles) 1 keeper with batting(2 roles). Need a change from (5 batsman 5 bowlers 1 keeper with batting = 12 roles only) TO (10 5 2=17 roles) should be performed. Then any cricket team can beat the world easily. Make sure all 11 players should bat well. Now what happens, after the top order is down, then we all cry. Instead of that, just search for true players who can perform even at the last wicket.
4) Do not give captancy, WC to a person who is just a senior in the team. Find out whether he can lead the team or not.
( for ex: tendulkar, darvid, sehwag are not worth enough )
5) Who does not come to practice properly, should be fined if there is not valuable reason.
6) Senior players - please retire if you are not consistent. I guess, the impression of heroism & money comes with ads will not make them to retire even if the fans comment very badly. Selectors, please use the brains.

very good points to ponder over for the officials of the BCCI.

I think, the players get 50%, the BCCI another 50%. So, your first suggestion will not be accepted.

EXACTLY!!! I was also shocked to see this mistake. So I checked up the official website of ICC http://cricketworldcup.indya.com/scores/html/live/matchcast.htm
But there also the same mistake. The first match was to be A1 v/s D2. D2 is Ireland and not West Indies. I guess someone has goofed up. Folks this world cup is really crazee and mad. What kind of organisation? Or are these fellows high on Rum punch and beer?

Hi bhai.. This is correct. D2 is WI. which means any team that got into Super 8 other than those ranked 1 & 2 would take the rank of the team that got replaced. Not by points. This was a great rule propounded by ICC to schedule important matches conveniently!! For Eg: they scheduled Ind v/s Pak on apr 15th Sunday. Now both the teams are out, so the match will be Bangladesh(replacing India for B2) v/s Ireland(replacing Pakis for D1) Got it?? Cheers

Indian cricket team member have become commercial and more inclined towards show business rather than the game. All sports persons need to be taught a lesson by putting a bann on all his ads and products if he/she doesn't perform well. If we implement this all sports person will get a lesson that they are for the game and game is not for them. Since they are getting money which is more than required by means of sponsership and ads these should be banned or withdrawn with immediate effect if they does not perform well. This way each and every player of any sport will be more interested in play rather than ads.

it was better if u change this song as come back india come back. giving more imp to players than the game defenitely ruins the morality. i was thinkg about all those praises by veterain cricket giants regaring indian cricket team. atleast now sunil gav will keep his mouth shut.

If Gangly had not wasted so many balls, would India have scored 500 in each of the matches? What prevented the guy at the other end from scoring whenever he had the opportunity? The best he did was 'getting out'. When someone goes as opener, he can play all the 300 balls. Remember he opened in all the matches and was never out first.

Well said, SG was responsible for eating up the balls and slow scoring againt Bangladesh. What others done. India lost 5 wickets for 2 runs. why other were not able to score high when they were having 10 overs to go and 6-7 wickets in hand. Why all the big guns followed each other.
It was only and only the captanincy of rahul dravid which was responsible for such performance of team india

Why single out a few names? Cricket is a team game. Our team is full of poor millionaires who could do everything (like acting in Ads), but play cricket. Pity them.
