Dravid scoed 14 and 7 against Bangladesh and Bermuda respectively- great player!!!
Dravid scored 81 runs in aggegate.
Gnguly scored 161 in aggregate!!!
Ganguly slow player!
Most of them are not even that!!
Scoop-
Videocon has removed Rahul from the advertisement!!!
Sachin and Dhoni were also removed.
Team India ha ha ha.
Destroyed Destroyed and Destroyed,
by jealous More, ambitious Rahul
and crooked Chappel.
Cry India cry,
Cry like you cry at bereavement.
Cry and cry,
Let warm tears roll down your cheek
and you take a vow to appreciate the real
leader and the patriot
and vehemently protest the incompetence
and non performance of the blown up heros.

It is not difficult to guess the reason of our country's failure to progress as it is infested with divisive and regionally bisaed people.
Shocking that some people are yet to find reason.

who prevented others from scoring runs briskly?
ganguly did not consume too many balls on the sri lanka match and departed ealy.
what happened to others?
You can not expect only one player to perform all the time.
in the bangla match also when others were trembling and perishing like a pack of cards
ganguly at least tried to hold one side intact.
had he perished earlier virtually not even Yuvraj could find a partner to play as he played.
where the entire team fails to complete 50 overs you can not blame ganguly for slow play.
ganguly had to sychronise big heating as late as possible because circumstances prevented him to go for that early.
it was bad luck that he perished at a very wrong moment while stepping up the score rate.
he was out while playing a shot and not defending his wicket.
ganguly is a true sportsman and a true strategist.
it will take you at leat few more births to appreciate him.
he is still needed in the team
at least for 2 more years to lead and groom another young player as a captain.
may be Sreesanth as the next aggressive captain of india.
ganguly must retire at the age of 36/37
after restoring the the team spirit and will to win in the Indian team.
Dravid should be removed immediately.

Even slow scoring with Beremuda was designed to throw india out of WC.

Bangladesh was playing with 12 players in WC win against India. whereas India played with 10 players.

Ganguly played for himself and Bangladesh.

Indian Cricket needs the following changes:
by Srini on Mar 29, 2007 06:02 PM  Permalink

I am one of the many millions of the frustrated Indian cricket fan but for a small change I like to see what needs to be done in a different angle which will improve the standard of the Indian cricket. Well I would like to publish this an article but I am not sure how to do it.

The following are some of the long lasting thoughts of mine and it might reflect many others too.

1. Selection Committee:

Region based selection committee should be abolished and we can still have 5 %u2018Professional Selectors%u2019 who is responsible for monitoring and both local and international crickets.

These selectors should be paid and accountable for every move they make.

Selectors should watch all the matches.

The selection committee should be appointed by the only professional performance committee which should have only former cricketers.

The non-regional selectors should visit various zones to watch matches.

2. Teams

We need to have a solid India A team in place.

Upcoming and performing each Under 19 players should be sent to NCA for their skills enhancement and the best should be drafted into Indian A team as a source of supply.

NCA is also made accountable since they are picking up only the top quality players from various levels.

As such now NCA should have professional coaches in place and they should work with both Indian A team coach and India senior coach.

Indian A team must and should have regular tours and it should be managed as the senior team with Coach, Bowling Coach and Fitness trainers.

The management team from A team should provide regular updates to the Indian Senior management team and the senior coach must spend a bit of time monitoring the A team too.

NCA and MRF Pace foundation should be used on a regular base to improve and enhance the cricketing skills of the Indian cricketers.

3. Local cricket

As such now, every team have a Coach, Fitness trainer but these people should work with the national level expected programmes such as fitness level and etc.

The standard of the pitches should be improved and penalty should be in place for the substandard pitches for the local association

Make every cricket association to provide 5 top crickets before every session for NCA training. This will help NCA to increase the capability and standard of the cricket.

4. Pay

Every cricketer should be a employee of the cricket board and their pay should be on the bases of the performance.

Capped and regulated endorsement actives should be created by the board.

Penalty charges for every cricketer who is giving wrong interviews, wrong endorsement and of course not maintaining the fitness level which is created by the board

5. Manager

Indian team should h

Shameless DD
by Ravi chandran on Mar 29, 2007 03:16 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Our MPs unanimously passed a bill that all International Games of significance to India must be fed free to DD. So DD is getting all free. Ads coming between overs help DD to collect huge money. So, it shamelessly shows only balls 2-5 and never 6 and 1 of the next over.

The Politicians poke their nose in all fields. They may bring reservations also on this game. If this happens, there will be only VIBGYOR Teams in cricket with reservations earmarked

I think, Reservation is not followed in our defence services. Why not remove the discrimation and have them to defend Kashmir?
