Even slow scoring by ganguly against Bermuda was designed to throw india out of WC. But others scored briskly to keep challenge alive.
Bangladesh was playing with 12 players in WC win against India. whereas India played with 10 players.

what is ur problem why r u reading msg??60 runs in 130 balls how it can help a team cause?? Yuvraj Scored 47 runs in 10 overs Rest of team scored 50 in 19 overs Against burmada he scored 89 in 114 balls wasted 25 balls that is around 4.6 runs per over... compare it to the indian teams average of 8.26 Ganguly was struggling while batting against burmuda, and got 3 lifes Tendulkar scored a duck, Ganguly 7 in 23 balls and Yuvraj 6? Dhoni 0?( match against srilanka) All is these playrs contributed to team defeat why u blame coach and captain only. I GANGULY DID Dravid is doing equally good job in last 16 months when compared to ganguly %u2018s 5 yr success. GABGULY DITCHED DRAVID BY PLAYING NEGATIVE CRICKET. if any win there won't be a change in cataincy. And ganguly won't get such huge stage like WC to humiliate dravid , so exit from the wC means provend dravid poor captain and many will praise ganguly &he will say infront of media that he is not prolbeminterested in captaicy. but will do everything to regain captaicy SIMPLY BACKSTAGE POLITICS POLICIAN GANGULY SHOULD BE OUT OF TEAM

you fool Rahul Dravid is from Karnataka not from Maharastra. He played for Karnataka not for Maharastra in Ranaji Trophi. So how can u say he is from Maharastrian

I agree he played for karnataka.I agree he even studied in karnataka but where is he basically from? i made it clear that i do not have any problems with maharastrians. I can't undtstnd why evrybody wants to bring different regions into pic. I really didn't want to comment abt Dravid's origin but just bcoz soembody said that he is a kannadiga n so a dharpok hiding behind his wife's saree, i wanted to make it clear that he is not a kannadiga by birth.

Wherever Mr. Dravid from. that is not the important subject. all other senior players backstabbed Dravid. that is the subject. let us talk about how to avoid this type of politics in future.

This is precisely the problem with Indians. We always be biased on regionalism, if Dravid has failed why take the blame on entire Kannadigas. I'm living in Karnataka for the past 10 years and I must say that Kannadigas are one of the best people in the country (not to bring down any other race). Its a shame that you are calling challenge on all Kannadigas just because Dravid has failed. Look at the performance of Srinath, Kumble, Brijesh Patel -- and Dravid himself except the past few months -- all Kannadigas. Never dare to challenge Kannadigas, you will be nowhere, you are bringing out the sentiments of millions of Kannadigas ..
Personally I feel there is actually no problem with the Indian team. The same team vanquished WI in a world cup match, they beat SL and WI in home series' just before the WC -- in pretty much similar conditions. Where were you when all this happened? You didn't bother to talk rubbish against Kannadigas? Nor against anyone in the Indian team? If you can taste sweet of success, be prepared to take the bitter of failure. They will rise again. As Vengsarkar said, if we play Bangladesh 10 times, we will win 9 of those. If we play SL 10 times, possibly we will win in 5 of those matches. Thats not bad, its been this way for ages. In cricket you win some, you loose some. Thats how it is, and with any youth or with any new captain, its not going to change, ever. Yes, we need a new coach.

Wow! Enjoy your retired life!
The hollow WC with diluted competition will continue for another month while more than a billion souls suffer in Pakistan and India.
The idea of opening up the WC was ridiculous to begin with. Only big eight teams should play in the WC. Minnows like BD should play in a junior cup with Zim, Kenya and others. Excluding India will ruin cricket financially.

They would have done much better than what BD will do. BD will lose all its matches. India would have beaten WI, Ireland (Pakistan), England handily. They are capable of winning at least 2 out of three against AUS/NZ/RSA.
