Stack Implementation for endorsements......
by vaibhav bhatnagar on Apr 10, 2007 02:31 PM  Permalink

Tour of Bangladesh can be seen as begining of new era for Indian Cricket with all new appointments, new team, new rules blah blah...Just thought it will be good if BCCI have a stack implementation for the endorsements for the players....Instead of fixing number of endorsements for players....They could add 3 enorsements for series win to player stack and remove 2 endorsements from there stack...If the current endorsements numbers increases compared to the numbers they have accumulated, BCCI should charged these players heavely...and even banned the advertisements.......this players will be on toes most of the time and success rate will be above 70%....

Boring
by Radhikaprakash on Apr 10, 2007 02:20 PM  Permalink

Again and again we have been referring about Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri, Amarnath and so many other Manjunaths. Mr. Sharad Pawar - one tiny request - if you really believe that the youngsters are the back bone of our country, then check out all the seniors and let Indian team have young, energetic blood. Provide the opportunity to the youngsters and seek the public opinion with one condition that no court provides a STAY ORDER

LETS PUT AN END TO IT AND MAKE BETTER INDIA WHERE EVERYBODY IS TREATED EQUAL AND AT PAR. YOUNGSTERS SHOULD BE ENCOURAGED FOR GOOD PERFORMANCE IN SPORTS. POLITICIANS SHOULD START SPENDING THEIR WAGES ON SPORTSMEN.NO ITS NOT RIDICULOUS! ITS ENOUGH THEY HAVE BUNGED UP THEIR POCKETS.

Why don't you Pea brains just admit the team and the players had the potential to perform well at the world cup as we all expected, but under performed and under achieved. May be one or two playerrs like Irfan and Srishant should have played in the key matches and could have made the difference.

Politicians can't keep away as long as there is money in it
even if Sharad Pawar goes, there is Arun jaitley (BJP, Delhi) and the great Laloo Yadav (RJD, Bihar) who are heading their respective state organisations and are in queue for the top job

in fact, be ready to see Laloo's son (who plays for his school team in Delhi) in INDIAN colours in a few years time

and as far as cricket is concnered, it may not end at the level of Football, Hockey and other sports, but it will not achieve agreat progress either

Dravid did what Srikkanth refused
by anurag rai on Apr 10, 2007 10:26 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Y is Krish Srikkanth told the story now...is because
1. Dravid is in similar situation now.
2.Dravid has done what Krish Srikkant refused to do that is "SELL THE TEAM"

WHO IS THE CORE OF THE TEAM...SEHWAG YUVRAJ SACHIN BHAJJI DHONI GANGULY ZAHEER...ITS BEEN FOR A WHILE NOW......IF WE HEAR YOUNGER TEAM AND EXPERIENCED CAPTAIN.....WHAT I GET IT FROM IS DRAVID SOLD THE TEAM....JUST TO SAVE HIS CAPTAINCY .......DRAVID DIDNT SCORE TOO WELL IN THE WORLD CUP.....AND HIS CAPTAINCY WAS PATHETIC....SO IF HE SURVIVES...I THINK HE IS A GREAT DIPLOMAT....WE ARE PROUD OF WHAT KRISH SRIKKANT DIDNT DO AT THAT TIME....AND ASHAMED OF WHAT DRAVID DID TODAY.......TIME WILL TELL...BECAUSE BCCI DOESNT HAVE ANY FRIENDS.....THEY ONLY KNOW ONE THING THATS MONEY....

YUVRAJ BHAJJI ZAHEER SEHWAG.....STOOD BY GANGULY WHEN HE WAS DROPPED...

YUVRAJ SUPPORTED SACHIN....AFTER HIS COMMENTS....

I DONT SEE ANY ONE DOING IT FOR DRAVID......WHEN HE WILL GET IN TROUBLE AND HE WILL SOON GET IN TROUBLE.....

IF BCCI AND MR DRAVID HAVE THE BALLS....
THEN...JUST FOR SAKE OF EXPERIMENTAION AND GIVING THE YOUNG BRIGADE A CHANCE....
REST....
GANGULY
SACHIN
SEHWAG
BHAJJI
YUVRAJ
DHONI
ZAHEER

AND GET THE GREATS AS PER CHAPPEL....RAINA AND EVERYONE DRAVID WANTS....DRAVID IS THE CAPTAIN....ONLY IF DRAVID HAVE ENOUGH GUTTS...TAKE THIS YOUNG TEAM AND GO TO BANGLADESH.....IT WILL BE EVEN....BANGLADESH HAVE YOUNG TEAM...MOST UNDER 20....SO IT WILL BE A EVEN COMPETITION AND WE HAVE A GREAT ADVANTAGE OF HAVING WALL AND THE MOST ASTUTE CAPTAIN IN THE WORLD......
SO Y NOT DARE....

Srikanth did it for entirely different reasons ...
Dravid has already tried defending Sehwag and has faced enough music for it. If the jokers keep on failing, then what can he do

I admit Sewag is a good player but he has been out of form for a while. I believe it was Dravid's doing that he kept trying to get Sewag back into form after the world cup started, which meant the team never felt quite settled and that may have been part of the problem. One other thing, now that SA also managed to loose to Bangladesh (NZ team in a warm up game) should they all retire too like everyone is asking Sachin to do. May be Flintoff of England too.

if we picked yougster in the team against Sachin, Ganguli, Sehwag, Yuvraj, Bhajji, Zaheer, then it will be very worst thing will be happen in Bangladesh tour. That will be another tragedy for the India Cricket. Then india will come in 9th position of ICC ranking where in Bangladesh standing.

Their win against SA proved they are much better than Indians. Indians should be stripped off with their test status..

SA will rue for having dropped the aparthied policy. Then, they need not lose to non-whites.

We got 191 (thanks to Zaheer and Munaf for pushing it up from 159/9); but SA got only 185. Ha, ha, they are lousier than us. :-)

Who can remain?
by pradeep poolakand on Apr 10, 2007 08:48 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

These members can remain in the team:
Robin Uthappa
Irfan Pathan
M. Dhoni
Harbajan Singh
Rahul Dravid

Shewag should be temporarily dropped; but he still has left some cricket in him. Then, the rest of the slots should be filled by young blood. It's for the selectors and BCCI to do justice to Indian cricket fans who have lifted the world cricket to greater heights. They need to remember one thing that Indian cricket team has never done anything great (except for the 1983 team); it's only because of the cricket crazy India fans that the world cricket has scaled the dizzy heights. If this fan following is to be sustained, then the BCCI cannot keep ditching Indian cricket fans. A mass of people cannot be fooled in the longer term.

Indian cricket is vitiated with money, money and money. nothing else. the board should be cleansed of this cronies who do not care for the actual game. then they can talk about the team. cancer is there. board is ruled by politicians. what result can u expect in this situation except some platitudes, soulless harsh words, machinations, manipulations, hype and nonsense. the players and the real players are all hand in glove. the real fools are who watch the game.

And what has made a useless cricket fan like come to this conclussion that Sachin has played for records. You will be saying the same nasty things about players like Yuvraj at an opportune moment I am sure. I think it is more to with jealousy for the money he has made. If you weren't useless you would have made some money in your life too.
