on which basis will make dada as captain he has no more previous ganguly now he is selfish maharaja
The buzz going on the street, clearly states that people are casting aspersion on Greg Chappel. Infact Indians read him incorrectly, he is a man of strict dicipline and our Indian players are in the habit of living an indiciplined life which is characterised by no practice sessions, no punctuality, no domestic matches and all that. If you ask the players, they would rather have Mandira as their coach than Greg Chappel. They feel that Mandira has gathered immense experience by being close to the legends like Ian Chappel, Tony Greg, Dean Jones during EXTRAA INNINGS.So, the players should request Mandira to write a complete Cricketing Manual for them which they will follow line by line and learn by heart, with the optimism of improving thier performance.

Yes the players would not mind her as coach, she won't even try bothering DADA and Sachin
It is pity that a selfish person like Rahul Dravid is retained as Captain of team India. Do not our bosses in BCCI want a pro active captain ? I think that they just want yes man or a per who can wag his tail as and when they want him to do either for them or for the whites they hire. BCCI is the only institution in my knowledge who has paid heavily to Greg for destroying the Indian cricket, which they are otherwise supposed to take care. What a shame. If Tendulkar and Yuvraj could be served notice for expression of their hurt after adequate provocation by Greg then why Greg was left to go scot free. He has slapped on the face of Indian as nation. And why Kumble is not served notice, just because he represents the same team as Dravid? I think Kumble spoke much more than other two.
sinear player is not good work for the indian team bcci take to new team with youngster.team india-1.rahul dravid 2.mohammed kiaf 3.gautam gambhir.yuvraj singh.robin utappa . m s dhoni.suresh raina. dinesh kartik. romesh pawar. harbhajan singh. irfan pathan. s. srisanta. jahir khan.

You are right, but do not you think we will be led by the same captain, who ditched his team to keep his seat intact. He is a coward. Can he in life to be brave and resign as captain for teams failure as Sachin did after australian tour? Dravis will never di it as his place in team after leaving captainship is not assured. Has any body else in team India including Dravid performed better than Sachin in last two years?
OK. But can someone explain to me these three things.............. During the Champions Trophy,Did team India under our great leader and Captain, Dravidji, have young players?YES
During the Champions Trophy,Did team India under our great leader and Captain, Dravidji, had the VISION/PROCESS working?YES
SO WHY THE HELL DID TEAM INDIA WITH ALL THE JUNIOR/YOUNG BLOODED PLAYERS still LOSE IN THE FIRST ROUND? WAS it the media pressure? WAS it the Championship format? WAS it that the young blooded players were acting like MAFIA? OR WAS IT THAT DRAVIDJI is not a GOOD captain?

Ankurji, We are discussing the Champions trophy 2007,but in the world cup, the great Dravidji had a mix of youth and mature, but he still failed. The point is this, that Dravidji has the MIDAS touch, no matter what team you give him,he FAILS!!!!

HAAHAHA BECAUSE THIS IS A QUESTION THAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU LAME ASS DRAVID SUPPORTERS CANNOT ANSWER......I FEEL SORY FOR YOU......U R LIKE PEOPLE WITH EYES WHO LIKE TO LIVE WITH A BLIND FOLD....
India does need a strong coach somewhat on the lines of What Gen Patton was to the armed forces of America. Her is an excerpt of his speech:
"Men, this stuff that some sources sling around about America wanting out of this war, not wanting to fight, is a crock of bullshit. Americans love to fight, traditionally. All real Americans love the sting and clash of battle. You are here today for three reasons. First, because you are here to defend your homes and your loved ones. Second, you are here for your own self respect, because you would not want to be anywhere else. Third, you are here because you are real men and all real men like to fight. When you, here, everyone of you, were kids, you all admired the champion marble player, the fastest runner, the toughest boxer, the big league ball players, and the All-American football players. Americans love a winner. Americans will not tolerate a loser. Americans despise cowards. Americans play to win all of the time. I wouldn't give a hoot in hell for a man who lost and laughed. That's why Americans have never lost nor will ever lose a war; for the very idea of losing is hateful to an American."

a good one but i think it is really time to tone down as a cricket fan - it is just a game - please read peter roebuck's recent column in the hindu - it had a good ending where he said something along the lines of "applaud other persons skills even though he is your adversory" - this is exactly what dravid had done after the bangla match where he applauded tamim iqbal for his fearless batting... that is gamemanship not winning at all costs... this is not a war for god sakes..

He can do it on regular basis and applaud opponents, becuase he will never win in trying conditions even if he gets present Australian team. To win you need desire to excel and fire in your belly not a dead mind going through motions and settling scores taking support of Firangi, whose sole motive was to destroy Indian Cricket.
There is a great possibility of a Nexus between Player's Agents, BCCI officials and Selectors in the Endorsement SCANDAL. An CBI inquiry must be undertaken, without any delay.
This scandal is no less evil than the Match Fixing Scandal. Both involved MONEY and GREED. Both brought disgrace to the nation. Both took away joy from the billion plus Indian followers.
CBI investigation is must, to know why timid and weak players were selected to represent India.
