My Question.....if INDIA ONLY WON UNDER GANGULY BECAUSE OF DRAVID'S CONTRIBUTION...THEN I SUPPOSE NOONE IS STOPPING DRAVID TO PERFORM WHEN HE IS CAPTAIN AND WIN MATCHES FOIR INDIA LIKE HE DID WHEN GANGULY WAS CAPTAIN.....

IT WAS NOT DRAVID...IT WAS A FIGHTING UNIT UNDER GANGULY....

RESULTS SPEAK FOR ITSELF.

WORLD CUP FINALISTS....UNDER GANGULY
WORLD CUP DISASTER .....UNDER DRAVID

CHAMPIONSTROPHY WINNER, FINALIST & SEMI FINALIST UNDER GANGULY

CHAMPIONSTROPHY DISASTER AT HOME....IS ASHAME..UNDER DRAVID...

EXAMPLE OF POOR CAPTAINCY....
DRAVID SHIFTED TENDULKAR TO MIDDLE ORDER...BUT HE WANTED TO OPEN....

GANGULY ALLOWED TENDULKAR TO OPEN IN WORLD CUP..IT PAID OFF.....GREAT CAPTAINCY

FIFA world cup 2018 in India
by Sharad Saxena on Apr 18, 2007 06:58 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Great news!!!! Great news!!!! Great news!!!!

FIFA president Mr Sap Blatter is in India and after he was AMAZED to see the potential with the stadiums and huge fans which are the basic condition for football

He has announced that FIFA is thinking in the direction that world cup 2018 can be hosted in India!!!!!!

FOOTBALL the most famous game in the world / Maximum countries play this game / rich or poor, city or villages all can play / bad performers can be easily kicked out / captain has no special role / less time taking / Money is AUTOMATICALLY linked with performance and is very -2 easy to evaluate and last.....

This is the game which a man love to play (MARDO WALA GAME)

Request -- Pls dont ask about football and FIFA

Captain ?? oh my God???
by Sharad Saxena on Apr 18, 2007 06:35 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

No of my friends have critisized Dravid as captain and shown faith in Ganguli who is also a burden on team

I feel u r still living in ILLUSION, what a captain can do when......
BOWLERS will not bowl at right spot
BATSMEN will stand on one side without scoring runs with a hope that making runs is the responsibly of other side batsman
FIELDERS will drop catches and show CONSISTENCY in mis fielding and lastly
COACH he is making experience like shuffling the cards without any planning

Is it not the right time to give warm FAREWELL to our STALWART ( Sachin, Dravid, Ganguli, Sehwag, Harbhajan...u can add few more) and try youngesters????

Regards

Dear Suman (Mr or Ms it is still interesting till today)

I really like this particular line from yor message
"team win all players come forward to take credit then all players will be responsible for the defeat". after all they get same match fee and captain do not get anything extra????

QUESTION IS WHY IS THE BOWLERS NOT BOWLING AT THE RIGHT SPOT...?
WHY ARE BATSMAN STRUGGLING...NOT ONE BUT ALL...?
WHY ARE FIELDERS MIS FEILDING?

IF SO MANY THINGS ARE GOING WRONG....UNDER DRAVID....SO WE SHOULD BLAME DRAVID....HE IS THE CAPTAIN?
....AND GANGULY TOOK US TO WORLD CUP FINAL WITH A SIMILAR TEAM...WON US CHAMPIONSTRPHY.
WE NEED TO SEE WHAT GANGULY DID AND DRAVID IS NOT DOING.....?????

MAKE ANYONE THE CAPTAIN...IN THIS ORDER YUVRAJ....GANGULY OR TENDULKAR...BUT NOT DRAVID...

If getting the output is the sole responsibility then next time BCCI should should one outstanding captain and any 10 average players bcoz according to u.....
THEY WILL GIVE SUPERNATURAL PERFORMANCE????

I want to listen to u, pls reply must

WHO STOPPED THE PLAYERS TO SHOW GOOD PERFORMANCE, certainty , being a captain Dravid would not have done that.....

RESULT THAT MATTERS "IS THE TEAM WINNING"?
DOESNT MATTER WHO PERFORMS .....

THAT HAPPENED UNDER GANGULY....ITS NOT HAPPENING UNDER DRAVID....

THE REASON...DRAVID IS A DISASTER.....HE HAS 10 OUTSTANDING PLAYERS.....HE STILL CANT GET PERFORMANCE OUT OF THEM....THEN ITS A SHAME.........

Will India ever could perform be like teams who reached Semifinals
by Vamsi on Apr 18, 2007 01:27 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

So much preparation, So much hype and so much drama by Indian cricket team, Film starts trying to make their presence felt in motivating the team, Bunch of more fools and less jokers (Commentators like Srikant and his funny team with their foolish comments) collectively involved in biggest blunder of the Indian cricketing history, just to win a match against Bermuda and loose two matches against Bangla and SL.

None of the cricketers had performed their minimum responsibilities and still want to continue in the team and it is only Coach who resigned if not he might have been fired. How many times Indians will excuse these cricketers again and again for their underperformance of their basic responsibilities.

Just check for stats each of team which reached semifinals (http://www.itsmylinks.com/uscricket.html?gclid=CMjOsP3woosCFTIeGAodSxhZkw) Every team has 6 players who scored more than 150 runs and 4 players who had scored more than 320 runs and 6 bowlers of each teams took more than 6 wickets and 4 bowlers of each team had taken more than 12 wickets each.
This clearly indicates the specific roles given to batsman and bowlers of these teams are being performed 90 to 100 % without fail. Where does so called India Batsman and bowlers stand. None of them have performed more than 50% of the allotted roles. But still are angry and starts giving personal Statements to press and wanted to create impression that they haven%u2019t done anything wrong.

They are being trained motivated paid salary hyped and mostly prayed to all different GODs in India by 100 crore mad fans just to win one game and loose two games.

Buch of fools and jokers will be sitting again on April 20 to select 15 fools if not jokers who are so called cricketers of India for a Bangla tour.
Lets see how many underperformers will still get a chance to be selected which will reflect how blind the selection committee is.

The Board President sud b changed. No more excuses. If he wants to survive then he has to deliver. No more recomendations. Y dont they think of a good Bowling coach? No more Sachin/Sehwag. All r fed up in waiting for their turn n they didn't n never turn. Its really shame tht on BCCI as it can't select 11 extra ordinary players from 100 crore pupil.
Only way is just drop the present team. Thtis the gift we give them. No matter who he is and wat he is. Wat do u say guys?

I totally agree with you vamsi. All that preparation for nothing.
You will see, next tournament against Bangladesh, On a flat pitch Sachin/shewag/dravid/saurav will make centuries and thats it.. they become gods again. All these stupid media/selectors/fans will be praising them.

We have to understand on flat pitches where there is no swing/bounce/pace any player will make runs. Look at the way Ricky plays.. amazing, I think he is the best player that we have around now. He is so consistent.
We have to learn from what Aus do, they are ruthless, if you dont perform you are dropped. Simple as that. They dropped Bevan!! He was the best finisher.

Sehwag plays good ones in 2 - 3 years, sachin clicks on flat pitches now-a-days even that we dont see, saurav clicks when bowlers are not targeting his rib cage and its is flat pitch... We have to have sense and stop supporting these players and support some other team like SL, NZ, SA or Aus.. they play for their country, their pride, they are proud to represent their country. Our cricketers all they care about is money money money. What really irritated me is Captain after coming back to india .. doesnt talk about what should be done to improve indian cricket.. he talks about endorsement. Comeon!!! how ridiculous is that.. and how stupid can we be supporting these type of losers.

I was a die-hard fan of sachin,dravid.. these are just bunch of losers playing for money thats all. None of these cricketers really care about fans.. fans who giveup everything to watch these guys play, How many of you stayed up late to watch these losers lose.. how many of you guys made advance bookings to watch them live, how many of you bought packages to watch them on tv..how many of you did other sacrifices for these losers.. does it really matter to them. I dont think so.. end of the day they say "waw!! this tournament we made so much money, when is the next ad shooting".

Its just sickening. Its never ending story.. Till all these stupid endorsements and other things stop.. Our cricketers wont improve. I can challenge.. India winning WC is just a dream.. other teams are going ahead, we seem to be going back!!! There is not gonna be any major change in selection, same old losers will be back on the team, same old thing will keep happening.

Who is Dravid?
That shaky weak timid and complaining type of a person?
Always backbencher.
Never laughs from heart.
This supporter of Dravid is also a very mean minded communally and regionally biased person.
She writes a lot on Hindu supremacy and raises anti Muslim slogans in different posts.
She is spotted.

Does Ricky Ponting have it in him to be the greatest batsman of this generation ?
by Varad Chaturvedi on Apr 17, 2007 06:25 PM  Permalink

Last 5-6 yrs have seen the very profilic Ricky Ponting, the australian captain. He has become a run machine in the last few yrs and he seems to be the only one around who looks like making 45 or more centuries in test matches and 40 odd in one dayers.

With Lara and Tendulkar in the wane of their glorious cricketing careers, Ponting looks even more impossing. I dont think there is anyone at the moment who can catch up with him. The talented tasmanian has benefited from being part of a very strong australian team throughout his career but most importantly has never changed his style of play and thats always a sign of a player who believes in his abilities.
As for the other contemporary great batsmen, i think none will catch up with Ponting.

The following is the list of players and the number of test centuries and one day centuries they might have at the end of their careers.

Ponting - 40-45 in tests and 40 in ODIs
Tendulkar - 37-40 in tests and 45-50 in ODIs
Lara - 35-40 in tests and 19 in ODIS
Inzamam - 25-30 in tests and 11/12 in ODIs
Dravid - 25-30 in tests and 12-15 in ODIS
Kallis - 30-35 in tests and 20-25 in ODIs
Mohammad Yousuf- 30 in tests and 15-20 in ODIs
Hayden - 30-35 in tests and 12-15 in ODIs

Its too early to say about Kevin Petersen though he has all the potential to eclipse a lot of records. I think he could become the best batsmen for the next 5 yrs.

Tendulkar, Dravid and Ganguly's Future
by bharat on Apr 17, 2007 03:55 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Tendulkar will be out of the Indian side for the next 6 months. He will make a come back and play reasonably well for another 2 years before finishing off.

Dravid will remain the captain for another 3 series before handing over to Yuvraj. He will easily maintain his position as a batsman.

Ganguly will continue to play for another 6 months. He will remain in the side until India's tour to a country with a quality bowling attack . That tour will be his Waterloo and adieu, Saurav (after 6 months) never to be seen again on the cricket ground.

RE:senior players let down team during wc defeat
by mohan on Apr 17, 2007 02:50 PM  Permalink
Dont simply blame DADA alone, he is the one who scored something to give respectivity. What other scored....!!!! Ok lets say you blame him.

What other teams did, look at SA loss aganist BD

the great Gibbs stood until the very end to see his side to defeat only...!!!!

Look at England win against BD, it is the most unconvincing win ever by any team.

The fact is Bangldesh performed better than few teams and there performance suits those picthes and they performed much more than anybodies expectation. We must pat them and tap our guys.
